I'm having a lot of trouble making any of my art look realistic. No matter what happens, when the dust settles, it still looks like a drawing. Any help?
I believe this is more of a tech support area.
But what you need to do is draw from life and reference. Everyone does it. And not like the "Hula-hoop" or "Heelies" or "Parachute Pants", but like Breathing. Everyone does it. They have done it for a long time. You should do it too!
Start a sketchbook, get some life drawing sessions, and you will see it.

Realism isn't something you can pick from a tree or have fall on your head. In most cases it takes years of study to achieve realistic looking paintings.
Start studying, and have fun.
Hmm. Good advice. Sorry about the misplaced thread.
