My sketchbook turns 2 years old today! +replies and more images (56k killer deluxe)

    Hello all!

Today is my Sketchbooks 2nd birthday!
    http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=41092
I started it at May 24th 2005 and here's some paintings it holds!

It's been quite a ride and hopefully i'll be able to show/create more art soon!
I have quite cool news to share with this community! (as soon as i'm allowed to)

    Fun facts...
Around 2000 pictures, 71 pages of Conceptart.org sketchbook, ~4 gb of jpgs and psd's
over 15 sketchbooks and 2700+ pages of paper sketches...

Here's is some of what i've done.

    let the show begin!

    cheers and thanks for looking!!

Love the body of work you've done in the past 2 years. Has been great inspiration and whenever I think of stopping to take a break and I think of your book. So you better not stop any time soon...but I have a feeling that won't happen for a very very long time.

Congratulations, and if one completes the task of going through your sketchbook from start to today, one can REALLY see the evolution you went through.

You where good when you started, really good, but you have really evolved and finetuned your skills.

I have said it many times, I envy your possibility to work and practice so much, and your determination to do so, and your skills.

Amazing, incredible work, Björn. All of this works leave me breathless and deserve to great attention. The shading of Native American are impressive. The Troll's one capture the traditional troll/fairie mood like only Master Froud can.
    You have my greatest respect.

Hello, the sweetest guy on the site!!! I'm happy that your book hit this wonderful data, so congratulation to you and keep on making this site a unique, delightful phenomena! Your book is sure one of the important part of the process.

I'm so happy to see my beloved images here in this celebrating thread... I have a past with these images and I remember my fist impressions from them and I'm glad it didn't change, which means I wrote about them not because I like you, out of friendly feelings but because I like them.

It warmed my heart to see that you like the Queen colored drawing from Star wars and included it to your summary of two years' old work. I'm still very fond of this image. It stands out from the rest very much. It has a different feeling. The most of your images are passion, open, without borders, As I said many times you are a true Hurricane, so wonderfully you chose you nickname. If a hurricane would be a human he would paint and draw like you.
But this Queen drawing leaves a different taste on my lips. It is still a passion, might be very strong one, but controlled passion, intimate, subtle, distanced, covered with layers of manipulation and wisdom. Charming. I love how soundlessly and avoiding this charismatic figure slides from the page. There is no vanity and so much self-esteem in her figure...
    The rest of my favs:
Gnome with a dead bird,, there is passion there too.. I think passion, speed, wildness, openness, strong movements of your soul, sincerity, passion again are the most prominent features of your art. And Humor, not less prominent feature...

Giant vicious balls, so worrisome...Creature, swallowing a little blue planet, wonderful symbol... Midnight landscape (its mood is very strong)... teamster worker in tavern... COW with delightful colors, blue and green, sapphire's colors, colors of ocean... priest in the moment of selling his soul to devil... Bunch of degenerates who stole the princess because they have no idea it was not an appropriates thing to do... the first image...
Gnome with a bird is very passionate too, btw, because he leans to the bird with all his body, participating in his grief without any limits.

I wish you put your Calendar piece there, this image stands out from the rest too, the expression of the face is very seductive.
So thanks to you and all the best to you.
