    drawings and stuff and....yes! (nudity yay!)

    so this is my second thread...i dont really like the stuff in my last one....stupid perfectionism. so, any comments will be very much apreciated. good or bad

    Nice new thread. The hand studies are great. Very nice values and rendering in those. The self portait could use some more contrast tho, some more darks anyway. Keep up the good work.

    Nice start to your second thread (i know how you feel about the perfectionism). You have a nice batch of tonal studies....may i suggest that you get some mid toned paper to work on so that you can add both lights and darks and build more range. Keep post'n!!

    Wow, good work there Lovin' those hands you drew there. Are you just using pencil or is that charcoal? Anyway, just giving out kudos.

    I think the problem with pen&ink is that there is no Ctrl+z command.

    writers and artists have a lot in common -- we both draw from life, we both paint pictures, and we'll both spend to many sleepless nights on our work.

    The self portrait looks great I expecialy like the hair.

    Try and make your eye look more more like an sphere and less like an egg also its never pure white.. execept for Highlights there should be at least two make it look liquid.

    gunther409: its regular drawin pencils, i think it was a 2B & 4B

    MSS1209: i see what u mean....im gonna have to work on that a little more. that means alot more hours infront of the mirror studying myself. (thank god im not ugly )
