Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
here's a 3D sketch that I did yesterday in Mudbox, trying to get a rough clay sculpture look. Simple rendering in Modo203. I like doing CG that looks hand made

i like him better with no eyes, more relaxed. good job
here's a little vray rendering, to see how it looks in another renderer.
This test really appeals to me. I'm not a sculptor; but, I've seen a LOT of clay works in progress... and, your Mudbox experiment is a dead ringer to me.
Had you not mentioned that you did it in Mudbox, I don't know that I would have considered it anything but a real clay work in progress.
I was also intriqued by the results from the different rendering engines.
Thanks for posting this.
very good looking
this rock style is great, expression is nice, very strong
thank you !
here are 3 more tests. the first 2 in vray and the last one in modo.
Right on man!
I think you nailed it. You definitely have something going here that i for one think you should continue playing with. the texture is super!
- I think it's official... I am the world's slowest painter
You had me going, I looked to quick and thought it was a sculpture... the surface texture is great
This is awesome work! On a side note I really like Modo's renderer, it's so simple for a 3D noob like myself.
you should do 3d printing with it....that would be cool
After all, dog is a dog. A duck is a duck. But a cat is a person.
RogerAdams: Yes, Modo is a nice piece of software. It has a minimum amount of parameters to set up, but the results are great. Very fast renderer, awesome modeling tools...etc.
This is cool
DivideByZero: I used the flatten brush in mudbox. I also used the pinch brush to enhance some edges. If you are using Zbrush you can do the flattening with the Layer brush.
