Weee an update! That's been a while

Liking what I see, you've definately become more loose over the past months. Too loose maybe. In most of these, a sharp and defined focus point designwise or compositionwise is missing a bit. For example, if you'd gone in with some more color and placed a few more brushstrokes around the cockpit in that Small Water Supply Vehicle sketch, it would have really punched the design out better. Quick sketches are cool and usefull to keep the mind flowing, but it might be helpful if you'd spent some more time on these.

For some of the ID sketches in here (like the AT-ST walker like vehicle) the Polygonal lasso tool in PS is an easy way to select a flat surface and quickly put in some color. You'll end up with sharper defined edges while getting gradients in there is really simple.

    Anyway, keep 'em coming

Hey man, this place is doodleishious, and oh you bastard! You got to go to the workshop. I would have gone, but god dammit it is fucking expensive going over the pond on a whim. I wanna go the next time they get one going (can't go to the upcomming one*_*)

Loving what you have here. You can see definite improvement in your anatomy from page one to here.

I really like your ID work and environments. Keep it coming.

The first step - especially for young people with energy and drive and talent, but not money - the first step to controlling your world is to control your culture. To model and demonstrate the kind of world you demand to live in. To write the books. Make the music. Shoot the films. Paint the art.

    Thx for the comments!

Some stuff done months ago. I will update recent work soon.
Almost all of it was done to get a temporary portfolio together. And uhm all I can say about it is that I know my fundamental skills are lacking and I'm working on those fundamental skills as much as possible.

Great SB! Thanks for the process on that train station piece.. Really useful to see how you approached the different problems!

i think those vehicles are of the hook in terms of your details, i think thats a very strong point of your designs. the yellow thing is awesome. it got some perspective issues, but appart from that its ok, but one thing to look out for is to communcate the big picture in terms of what is the purpose of the vehicle.. because i dont understand what the vehicle is used for.. you suggest it has something to do with the barrels on the sides of the vehicle.. but if it is storage of liquids, why wouldnt it look more like... say.. a truck?

Wow your sketchbook gave me a boost...

Vacation has not done me justice, at all! Been sitting still for 2 months while I was planning to waste a forest in paper on drawing... Damnit!

    Keep it up!

Oh and btw, do more of those marker drawings from the first couple of pages, they were awesome!
