zx52hg - Thanks for the crit. The 'lifeless', static comment is pretty spot on. The anatomy isn't flowing for me at the moment.
thanks midnight, but it needs an update.
More random pages from my SB.
Mostly pen, a few in pencils too.
First one is some fan art of Judge Dredd. Happy with parts, not happy with alot of other parts.
A few more pages.....
Finally after many, many months I can be bothered to post some pics.
Just random stuff from my sketchbook.
a few more.
and a couple more.
last one for today.
Got bored and had a play in photoshop with the Superman pencils,
Here's the result.
I aaaaadore your style! It's gorgeous (feel some fan art coming on!)
Loving it, please keep posting updates
Wow Norris, very nice comments.
I'll have a look through your sketchbook soon, if I haven't already.
Anyway, felt like adding colour to another one of my sketches, since I need photoshop practise. Simple cel shading style.
A few more pages, will add colour to a couple of these later for practise.
Here's a few of the sketches that I added basic colour too.
Abit of practise etc.
LOOOOONG time no post, so here are some of the usual pages from my sketchbook.
Yes, a real sketchbook with paper and pens and pencils and bad lines and mistakes etc.
and a few more.
mostly just pen and pencil.
last bunch for this morning.
These were sketches from my SB, that I scanned and added basic colour too.
No redo, just colours, TV added. Pencil/linework still all there (including mistakes).
Yeah really neat style, bold line i like that! some crits to help: some poses look a tad stiff ( thinking about the *you shall not pass goblin* or the warrior, although the other drawings are fine so it's just for you to check on that.
Another thing you could work on is your background, i would love to see some building sketches and stuff like that to really pop out your art. Your anatomy look fine but in your comic style there is place for more muscle to know and draw!
Anyway you have a nice SB congrats on your 10 pages and keep it up!
Thanks for the crit Alex, spot on with both comments.
Need to get my poses to flow more
...and I hardly ever draw backgrounds or scenery etc.
Another updste... more random sketches.
Mostly pen and pencil.
And a couple more.
Random stuff again.
