    nice job mate.

    maybe think about loosening up a bit on the next one, take a look at Singer Sargets portraiture. loose layered strokes equal free non eye taxing detail, give it a shot.

    also, maybe put some more time into investigating light, i think you could make some big strides easily by looking at the relationships between the objects in a scene, and how they effect eachother through reflected bounce light and cumulative shadow.

    This came out nicely, especially compared to where it was when you first posted it. A few things to think about, not necessarily for this one, but for next time:
    The low horizon feels out of place with the general renaissance feel of the rest of the piece, as does her shoulders back, hips forward pose.
    The still life and landscape elements look a bit rushed compared to the figure.
    The perspective of the objects on the table doesn't match the background, and they seem small.
    Finally, check out my thread on edges in the tutorials section, I think it would be very helpful to you.

    I like the skintone and the hair. The clothe look like they're pasted on, and really deteriorate the picture. She's really pretty though.

    There's nothing better than dinner and CSI.
