@neox, actually I am not familiar with maya as of yet. So no I didnt notice. besides LM said "Bryce3D"

thanks for info LM, It's looking really nice. I just ask so If I know the program, I might be able to envision the process you chose to build this model.

I like the proportions of your model. She's not your typical sci/fi anime chick that you usually see. She actually has reality based breasts, instead of the anti-gravity based ones you usually see throughout the net. Looks good to me.

So when can we expect a head for her? LOL

On a technical note, can I ask how you made this.
Did you create profile cruves to a drawling, poly model to sub d? I love it so far. Though I think the hand may be a little* to flat, just a tad. (the lower palm, thumb base area).

    Update some more pics!

thanks for the replies, sorry I havent had a chance to answer your questions.

Ant4d: im not known for my clean wires so dont expect much, but here it is, the belt is dense because it has already been converted to ploys.

    model progress

strang: i was just messing around about bryce. Im using maya with a combination of its poly and subd surfaces tools.

wchamlet: the head is in progress, im not so good at modeling, so it tends to take me a long time to model things.

thomasjm: this started from a cube, subdivision modeling technique, then converted to maya subd surfaces.

    Wink

landmate that mesh looks great, very much like your sketches. The polys are very evenly distributed to describe the form and without using too many I think, quite efficient I thought havent looked in the 3d concepts section for some months, but now I have, you've inspired me to do some more modelling! That's cool how maya's subdiv algorithms can deal with polys over 3 and 4 sided, what did u think about maya compared to lightwave, as a subdiv modelling tool? that's if u have used the latter. keep up the good work.
