DSG 1213: Sci-Fantasy: INVENTOR HAS CREATED "SUPER-FISTS" THAT CAN CAUSE GREAT DAMAGE

[ Super Fists go over your normal fists and allow an individual to punch with super-human force. ]

    [ Both a compelling and a disturbing thought. ]

[ In this scene, we might be treated to the actual testing of the devices... ]

[ ...Or the reaction of the inventor in the aftermath of the event... ]

    [ ...etc. ]

Sunny- Love that lighting! The rendering on the coat is a little weird but I think it fits. Not sure about the hair though..

Pizza Explosion- PWNZORZ! Lots of great character in this one!

BurntUmber- Lovely textures, those! Do you also do texture maps, by chance?

Estrata- Evil women geniouses are always hot. Cute character, nice camera angle.

geoffcbassett- Your hosting site doesn't seem to want to display your image...interesting character, although it feels like he shouldn't be able to hold up that huge fist! Maybe it has anti-gravity things in it too?

    Power Glove. It's so BAD.

Silentbrain: great grays, i love this image.
    Everyone: good job so far.
In Holland we had a famous boxer who's nickname was 'the Windmill', i think these were his gloves.

Silentbrain- I never got my Powerglove to do that, let alone steer in Rad Racer. I'm blown away by your entry... the layout, lighting, all the details, the humor. Awesome!

Here's mine. 1 hour. Pencil and Digital Watercolor in Painter. Don't ask me how she lifts it..

Two goes, one scrappy and generic, the other not quite to brief, but I liked the idea.

Only the second time I've ever posted anything, so please be gentle!

silentbrain I used a texture over the top of the final picture as it looked too clean and artificial. As for texture maps I'm affraid I dont even know what they are
anything decent I produce is 50% imagination 50% dumb luck.

Silentbrain i really dig yours. To tell you the truth I wasn’t happy with mine at all ha-ha. I was originally going for something along the lines of causing damage but it didn’t work out.

Did you go to school to learn composition like that? I'm struggling with it.

burntumber- Well, coulda fooled me! (not that I know anything about texture maps either...)

sunny- well, it doesn't have to cause damage, kudos for going a different route with the topic.
I took a background layout class once, I think it helped quite a bit. But yeah, it is always a struggle, just keep at it!
