Horse Skeleton study!
Okay, so I did this surprisingly quick sketch, since I think it's about time I start paying attention to the skeleton, and what makes these animals work. So here is the end result! Please tell me what you think about it, and what I perhaps could have done better! Thanks!

Nice job. I recommend taking a look at Bammes' animal anatomy book to get better at animal anatomy.
One thing that strikes me as important with skeletons of animals is that the concave and convex sides of the bone will dictate where the large muscles are. The shape of some of the bones looks a little wobbly to me. It looks like you are paying attention to the anchor points for muscles- this is very helpful for figuring out where the origin/insertion points are. I recommend you do a muscle overlay on this with tracing paper to further your knowledge.

Thank you for your reply!
Wobbly? hmm, yeah, I think I see your point. But bones aren't really STRAIGHT either, are they? :o I think muscles with straighten the wobbly parts up? I don't know, what do you think?
And yes, the idea about doing a muscle overlay is a very good idea! Thanks! I'll see what I can do about it! ^^
