    haha, is this for real?
who's he trying to to convince? Because you come across as awfully desperate when you turn to a banana to justify your religion. And the guy next to him is trying hard to stifle a laugh it seems. Nothing against religion btw .

thanks for posting Jens, great laugh

That is pretty much a completely useless argument - I've seen it tried before about a thousand times. Interestingly, the banana is a great example of what artificial selection by humans (evolution) can achieve.

The reason it is the most viewed is because people keep posting links to it on forums.

Yeah, we've already lost the nicer varieties. The ones left are bigger, but less sweet than the old ones.

Extinction of bananas would be bad though, because so many people rely on them for both food and income... bugger. I wonder if there are any preserved non-blighted banana cuttings somewhere.

Fresh faced, doe eyed Kirk Cameron looking on lovingly while Mustache Man demonstrates how perfectly a "banana" fits his hand and mouth is one of the most hilariously homoerotic things I've ever seen.

    I saw it on youtube a few days ago. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4yBvvGi_2A )

I'd guess Kirk Cameron is very likely not holding back a laugh... he's said some things just as freaky as the guy talking about the banana (watching them do that their show - which is on TV - is like watching a Train Wreck - the stupidity and overzealous evangelism is astounding).

The fact that Kirk Cameron is in it suggests it's actually serious. The guy is a nut. A zealot nut.

    The Way of the Master
is similarly hilarious for all the wrong reasons.

I think the other ironic thing (if indeed, I'm correct) is that there's really not a lot of nutritional value to a banana. More filler than anything, which, within the context of that video would not only be fitting, but even more perfect then the banana itself

    Oh man, "argument by banana!"

I, sadly, have seen this entire video.

Other great arguments they use are:
We are not related to monkeys because chimpanzees have terrible table manners. (They take a chimp to a restaurant.)
We are not related to monkeys because you can't book an airline ticket for one. (They try this also, saying they want to book a ticket for a "relative.")

Yeah Justin... that's pretty old actually. That argument by banana has been disproven heh. Speaking of bizzaro evil twins... here is another:

A non atheist/secular/liberal biased look at the world THE CONSERVAPEDIA

    Compare these articles:

    http://www.conservapedia.com/Comet
    vs
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comet

    http://www.conservapedia.com/Moon
    vs
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon

http://www.conservapedia.com/Dinosaur <- this one is funnier if you look at an older entry http://www.conservapedia.com/index.p...ur&oldid=16967
    vs
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinosaur

I think Conservapedias motto should be "We conserve on knowledge"

That was the most homoerotic thing I've ever seen. Ever. Even moreso than meatspin.

As the pattern gets more intricate and subtle being swept along is no longer enough.

Reading conservapedia is scary. I think that no matter if you're a scientist or a religious person, ignoring all possibilities but one is a bad idea. Faith nor proof lends intelligence or wisdom imo.

what's even scarier/funnier than the Kirk Cammeron show, is the Chatting with Charlie videos in the "most viewed" section. right now i'm watching this guy Charlie disprove evolution by way of woodpeckers, frogs and princeses. i'm not kidding.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who picked up on that. Seriously, I don't think I'll ever be able to look at a banana without thinking of a penis ever again.

Which is doubly ironic, considering the conservative stance on homosexuality.

this double-headed nickle story at the end of the 'how old is the earth' video is either the dumbest analogy to ever be postulated or Charlie just completely blew my mind.

i'm not an athiest and indeed i can respect every major religion for what it represents, but when they start stepping on the toes of basic reasoning and logic i can't help but scratch my head. (and rofl if the situation calls for it)

All hail the Mighty Banana and give praise to its AWESOME EXTREME POWAH!

This is really ridiculous. It's like they are just reaching for any random item on the table to prove existence. If they looked at their religion, it's not about proving anything. It's about love and belief and faith! Not bananas!

Thanks for the funny link. I really thought it was a spoof at first.

No, make no mistake it's serious. As for religion being all love belief and faith... here have a listen:
