Awesome stuff! Love the rain in the second shot, and who doesn't love a cool looking futuristic city concept?!

Amazing stuff...keep it up! Looking forward to the speed paints!

Second one's my favorite but the first is just jaw dropping. Great work.

I'm so gonna dry hump your brush strokes. The composition and atmosphere in all of these are tight as hell. The dragon is the only piece imo that doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the environments. Maybe put it at the beginning or at the end to make it flow a bit better, visual wise?

oh yeah, some very nice stuff there! The explosion in the first one almost feels too realistic in a way.. thats what came to mind when watching it. The last piece is the best, it has that perfect loose style with the colors going from warm yellows to cool blues, ah yes!

    Keep up the good work!

I strangely find myself wishing I was standing in the city watching all those explosions.

    Fantasmic!

Enchanted. Incredible effects and love your brush strokes. Really great works.
Can you put some space to divide the works? It's a little disturbing to see.

Wow.... i really need to practice more...
I very nearly didnt enter this thread coz i need to be working (lol) but I am very glad I did. The explosion in the first is SO expressive! I could see these on the big screen. These are just the sort of thing I love.
I agree that the dragon seems a bit out of place among these enviros.
The perspective on the third is insane, it totally sells the scale!

    Do you work professionally?

Love the first one! Nice integration of photo's. The textures are really nice as well, especially in the foreground. I think maybe if the overall sky and atmosphere were glazed with a red tone, the firey rain of meteors might be enhanced. Just a suggestion though . The perspective in the third one bothers me. The left side of the composition works, but not the right. You can tell in the bridges. Run a line to the vp's.
Great stuff dude! I'm a fan.

Thanx to everyone for your comments, Yep I`m a Concept Artist working in the North east of England for a computer game company, currently working on
a next gen title due to be out by the end of 2007, so later in the year i`ll be able to post a bucketload of concept work from that

As for websites or blogs I`m currently in the process of sorting all that out, its just something I`ve never done before. But hang fire for a week or two and i should have things up and running, in the meantime I`ll keep posting on this site and try to fill up the gallery.

Nice idea by the way, of puttting a warm red colour pass over the Meteor painting, will do that.. but I`ll try not to overdo it, you dont want to make the piece flat looking.

Thanx again everyone you`ve really pushed me to produce more stuff,... will send some speed paintings next.

Terrific life and atmosphere. You get alot from just a few brushes. Try some add'l range, or even wet charcoal drawing in the real world. I'd love to see what you'd get. I have some wet charcoal in my studio section on my site, if you get a chance.
Great stuff -- thanks for sharing...
