Part of my portfolio(rather large dump/nudity alert) Concepts added!
Uh, well, these are some of the images I currently have in my arsenal. I have more besides this, specifically designs, but I did not want to include them at this time, because of an uncertainty of the properties and where I'm going with them.
I don't have a lot of coloured pics right now, as I am awaiting a tablet, but I was wondering if some people here could give me some hints as to which ones to not include in my portfolio. The main purpose of it is to send for concept art positions. I think most of these are self-explainatory, but if not just ask.

it looks like a lot of these are just done directly from photographs. i'd suggest working from life a lot more. your zombies are pretty awesome, though.

theyre all cool but I think you want to add a little bit more "concept" to your art, to actually make it conceptart. yes? I like your zombies allot though, definately include them! and the angel medic. good pics!
Im not sure reffed images will actually add to your folio. Its not what a gamestudio etc needs.
congrats on your tablet, youll fall in love with it in no time!

I think I get what you mean, but the company I'm looking at asked for life drawing/referenced type stuff. Not that that was the only thing they wanted, which is why I am including in fact already going to include actual concept art, it's just that it has to do with a comic property I have co-created and am not sure I should release it to this site quite yet. I mean, it's not even a finished product yet.
The semi-nude guy is actually a life drawing/portrait of myself, done from sketching different parts in the mirror. The girl in the first drawing was a life-drawing too, though the guy was just added in later. Also the environment was only roughly referenced from photos, mostly to get an idea of jewish relgious architecture, and then I went off on my own.
Thanks for the help so far. Crits are always appreciated.

Ah, what the hell, here's my concept pics, these are only concepts, and not the final versions, but hopefully the same designs will be used. Does anyone know where I can get more reference for the second design's costume, I don't know how to do it well enough to be able to show it from al sides. Any information on that clothing would be helpful.
On the last picture, the sketch at the bottom is just an alternate older version that may or may not be used.

If you want a job as a concept designer/artist, you're going to need more finished conceptual pieces. You will need color pieces to show you are capable of creating characters, environments, vehicles, clothing ect with pallets that match your client's/company's needs. But aside from that, speaking of characters you'll probably need more pieces and a diverse range of different styles of people and cultures. Finding reference for your clothing isn't a bad idea, but always keep in mind that people want to see something new (even if based on old ideas).
Anyway that's just my .02 and I'm no professional. Good luck though.

What everybody else said. Are there 12 stones in that breastplate?

Yeah, you caught that did you? For anybody who doesn't know, it's a reference to the Jewish High priests of old.
