    --- Master Chill's Sketchbook ---

    Aloha all

After long consideration, my first encounter with the world

I'll try and post some of my artwork every now and then, but due to the fact that I'm still a student, it might take some time.

And last but not least, enjoy the drawings and if there's anyone who wants to reply, feel free I'd say

    Aloha,

    @ Mentler : thanks there - I certainly will

And this is the rest of them; mostly they were made at school like the mechanical dragon here. The Atlantis 13 was actually for my exams of january tbh.
The other drawings were created as a sort of training to see if I could draw concept art of any kind of subject. (The subject became japanese-chinese temples with a modern touch)

    Anyways, enjoy

Thanks for the welcome and the comments guys, greatly appreciated - but I have to be fair and tell ya'all that all these were just from last semester and older except from the Indy-drawing.

The female robot is one of last semester as well, I just recently got to scan her due to the lack of time.

The others that are about to follow are the better ones imo.
    I've had some Loomis-fun
But judge for yourself I'd say

Good Loomis and figure studies. And the female ninja at the top is really cool as well. Would like to see more shots of her.

I was just watching for an update and here it is

Nice drawings but keep this in mind. Try not to focus on the outline to much, with other words dont try to copy the model, analyse the model, try to capture the movement, the action.
A mistake I see alot of people make with life drawing, including myself when I started doing life drawing until I read some books etc from the great master Vilppu

    Keep up the good work.

... and this is the assigment we had for during the holidays. We were supposed to create our own robot and afterwards use it then as concept art to create it in 3d. (that explains the last drawing I hope :p )

Some explanation: it is supposed to be a dance robot with only one function; to entertain the audience at his best possible way by means of all sorts of dance-styles. It starts out of a little box and develops itself during the beat grows stronger.

Hope you guys like it :p

    Heya all,

    this one is the assigment we had to finish for this week;
it was supposed to be a concept for a monster with at least 2 feet and 4 arms and it had to contain a combination of at least 2 different creatures in it.

I created mine out of a dead cow (head) the arms of a bear, the chest and hands of a human and the legs of a centaur.

See for yourself all, c&c are offcourse welcome as always :p

PS: The thing on his rightarm is a crossbow, for those who are wondering what it is :p

Ahoy! Nice loomis studies, i like that robot, and the architectural drawings you have. This last one is pretty cool. The skin is kinda lookin rubbery, really glossy, but the shading around the right side shoulder and breasts doesnt really match the hard edge that you seem to be using for the highlights. Also the belly button ring interferes with the read of the bows string. But thats being kind of picky... Keep up the drawing and postings!!!!

    Aloha :p

Heya Hyver, it was lovely indeed to see you as well for real mate - the robot assignment is actually for my exams that are currently coming up - the plan is to make 'm completely into 3D - don't worry, I'll post 'm straight away as soon as it's completely done :p

Anyway, now for something that's been done between all those boring lessons :p - with great reagards too my dearest sweety :p

PS : the reason of this post being so large is due to the fact that it's pretty hard to read the small text otherwise sowwy all - should have made it a bit larger yeah :p

    Enjoy all

I love how you do backgrounds, they are very stunning and the perspective is really great~! Reminds me that I need to do more background studys XD

You do however need to work more on your figures, the anatomy is a little off.

It's my own character we had to create for my newest course called Storyboarding, so you'll be seeing this creature a lot since I'll have to use it the entire year :p can barely wait now
