    I'm baaaaahaaaack
.........at least, the last time I was here was in March

Those plein air painting came out very nice

I really like the mood in the last painting from #1076. You keep rocking your pens huh? Your lines are really nice and you handle them very well. Good to see you're studying so much and I'm glad you forced yourself to pick up the paints again. With being lazy and thinking about participating the ChoW I'm on the same boat as you are. If you have any suggestions to kick your (and my) ass, drop me a note

BTW: In #1124, who's the guy in the red cape with the yellow hair? (I suspect you of drawing someone who's awesome )

Hey sketcheth, I'm glad to be useful.

Looking good in this updates, they seem pretty imaginative (dunno if this word exists lol) because you paint a lot of diferent scenes, and i like that

Keep working on values, for example, the girl with the fire right next to her right needs a strong light and shadow contrast. The shadows need to be a lot darker and the parts that are most near to the light need lighter values, because fire as lightsource tends to be really variable, not like sunlight. Hope you get what i mean

this is a good example http://www.morganweistling.com/galle...ndlelight.html
you can see how her right arm is way more illuminated than her chest because the arm is nearer also the hand

Hope this is useful man! keep updating =)

Man this is all looking really nice, those little ink figure drawings you did are killer. You're getting a good grasp on color too. Wish I had something to critique you on but i dunno, i think you're really on the right track!
