Nice work. Do more color and be careful with the eyes, you're very good in giving them expression but the proportion is not always there.

I'm going to be taking you guys' comments and critiques and putting them in my sketchbook so I make sure I remember to try to improve by them.
Here are some of my personal sketches, some in class assignments, speedpaints, and messing with pen and ink seriously for the first time!

Nice work. Improving quickly. You have some preconceptions of facial anatomy that would be remedied by more portraits from life.

Listing: Hey I appreciate you stopping by to comment again! Preconceptions...alright, alright, will do. I'll do it. Self portrait studies coming up!

28chelseaslater: Thanks for the advice, I'll try to do that. I've got another one today.

thedestroyer: Hey thanks! I'll keep it up, thanks!

This one I did in the waiting room of the dentist's office, with a Sakura Micron pen.

paperX: Thank you very much. That's a car from my church parking lot...a toyota i think? Meh. It could be better, and straighter. But I was drawing on the iron steps, not the most comfortable.

Here's some stuff i've been doing in my commercial illustration class.Or at least some study-ish sketches...i forgot how fun birds can be...

sketchbook exerpts. I need to get back on my digital painting practice. Maybe some anatomy studies too...

Oh, I'd like to that PaperX for recommending www.posemaniacs.com/blog to me. It's a fantastic website and gives me a fun and beneficial activity to kill time with. So you'll se some of my 30 second sketches with 4b pencil. I think some ink drawings are on the way.

last1picked I learned a lot about the figure from the book Bridgman's Guide to Figure Drawing, Andrew Loomis' Figure Drawing For All It's Wroth, observing real people, and just practicing everything. The only real way to improve is to be constantly critical of what you're doing, and if something doesn't look right, redo it until it does. Use picture references if you can find what you're drawing. Also, definitely use www.posemaniacs.com/blog , it's an excellent source, try the 30 second drawings.
Micaiah Nelson Sadly, the sketches are really all I have here. I need to change that...

This is a project I'm doing in my summer commercial illustration class, redesigning packaging for a toy. Mine was a really stupid looking martial artist, but I'm going to paint the action figure to look a bit like this. If it turns out well I'll take a picture of him or something.

This is a really lousy Oc doodle I did while watching Lucky#Slevin last night. I need to relearn digital painting, I hope to have a whole lot more of that in here.

A minor update....I'll have a bunch of pages from my sketchbook real soon. This was just oc sketching....relearning painting, since I took off from it for so long. This is a crop from like a 20 minute doodle...we'll see how I progress.

Hey sketch, you got a nice style developing here. :3 I especially dig how you're drawing the ladies and your digis so far, they're looking pretty good. One word of advice, try cleaning up the lines a tad..I notice on some nice pieces that somewhere along the line something gets sloppy. Keep it up dude.

This is all I can manage for now. A quick alleyway sketch in oc and some alien concepts for the teen challenge. Yay! I kind of like the design so far, but I'm going to try to get a range of things first. Do some real conceptualizing.

By the way, thanks for the comments guys. I really appreciate them.

Very nice indeed, like your style. You really have talent to draw human figures, but I noticed that most of them are young females. Try drawing people of different ages, also male. Your digital works are also looking great. I cant wait to see this finished.
