a couple mor for the sake of keep'n it aliiveeh!

first is just a compilation of doodles (bottom left has one of initial designs for black lagoon). At the top some sketches for a character's anatomy that im working on and then just bored naked guy.

second is just doodle from a story i made little while ago. kind of an antihero. Trying to be "the good guy" sacrificed himself to not let the "pope" to aquire the power of god and so he became damned by god himself. story goes deeper but so far encounter a couple of cliche's im polishing on spare time =P wich is really non existent, haha.

either way, enjoy and thanks for vsiting =)

the model looks good so far, although i do feel that the face doesn't match with the body as much. nothing wrong with making it human like but maybe you could play with proportions and muscles a little bit. great mix of 2d and 3d in this thread, trying to do the same on my sketchbook as well. keep it up buddy, lookin forward to seein more 3d and 2d studies from ya!

good stuff, though I do agree with what Cok3 said about the head - it feels weird and out of place.

    sup all! thanx for visiting!

Leo: un gusto erte por estos rumbos!
Cok3 & dan liimatta: you are totally right! =) many people told me the same. its my first attempt at mudboxing so its ok i guess. i fixed some stuff on lighting and added more detail, but next time ill play with more shapes since as of now it does feel generic. thanx for droping a line =)

so here's a couple of sketches i've done on spare time. some are just studies for my self and last few is a character concept i was developing for a school prj. but just concept since im not in charge of developing anything for that particular one.

A word of caution when mudboxing, it can be hard to resist the temptation to sculpt all your texture on the model but unless you have a lot of geometry to work with your models can start to look like their coated in stucco.

Sometimes you just got to step back from the model and let your texture maps do some work!

Liking your contour drawings! Your gestures are pretty strong.

Hey dude. Welcome to CA. I really like the perspective of that guy 2nd post. Nice. The fingers on his far-hand look weird though.
