I like the head and how you portray the movement with the hair and the necklace, but i would incorporate the background a little more... maybe the mage's body isnt so ghosted...?
...its really strange to me. if you remove the whispy hair from the picture, his face doesnt look all that old. but the hair would indicate that this guy should look like a prune.
that said, you have some cool stuff going on with the rendering. like the necklace and tattoos.
- I think it's official... I am the world's slowest painter
The overall is very good but.....he doesn´t seem to be old!Just 50 or 55 ages old...
Camara - Yeah I know. I didn't want to push him too old, despite I've said OLD MAGE. Thanks Camara!
Quick_Sketch - I'll render some parts by hand this time. As matter of fact, I've used texturing, not brush. Thanks QS!
Matsign - Thanks Mat! I'll add some folds, but as I'd told Camara, I don't want to push him too old.
Fairly intresting character! Although I think it's on the verge of being too closeley realted to Kratos, from "God of War".
-I think HIS left side of the face sticks out too much. It's too big, i.e the face is assymetrical.
-I think the dark at his right nosewing is too dark, it's pushed in too far. The shadows feel strangely brown, did you use the colour burn tool?
- I'm not too fond of the fur, as I think it's too detailed and steals focus from his face. The same goes for the ear.
-His eyes are at different height.
-The chin is oddly shaped, it makes a big portrution at his right side.
- I think the neclace makes a wierd unmotivated movement.
-Finally, the tatoos are too flat, the feel "pasted on". They're far too smooth and doesn't deform to the skin surface. They should be more irregular, as to respond to all the bumbs, wrinkles and muscle-streches.
I like the lips.
#2 reminds me of the Saxon son from the new King Arthur movie.
Love the fur texture and the jewel.
Eric- that enviro has some really nice points to it... what I like..
the mountains in the BG are great!
That daisy looking flower in the forground is great
The two rocks.. Great...
That tree.. nice idea... Execution.. not so good... I understand what your trying to do with the whole "twisting" look but it looks too symetrical right now... Also, the style of the tree and grass dont match up with the rest of the painting... I like what you did with those flat sort of shapes in your coloring but, the tree and the grass doesnt get that same treatment.. Also, the leaves on the tree are really bad... Sorry to be so blunt but it seems like you took a vacation when it came to working on the leaves..
A suggestion... I would rethink that tree design.. I would add more of those daisy like flowers into your painting to add more design... Also.. you have the first mountain really dark... Why is that? doesnt really make sense.. Unless that mountain is completely in shadow and if thats the case you need to add some light on the right side of it to give us that indication... Keep on tweaking thi.. your onto something... Good luck...
Mainloop- man i must be dyslexic.. cuz i thought you asked how many people are on lsd
The mage has passed for some fixing. So here he is updated.
I'm bringing some changes on this tree scene, plus the finished characters within it. Hope you all like it.
I'm also bringing 2 paintings I did for book chapters related to doctor's office tales, where these doctor bring some funny stories about the careers.
Peace to you all.

The portraits is a series of paintings developed for the website of the company where I work. There you have me, Kadu and Junior. I make the illustrations, Kadu makes website and Junior is at the comercial department.
The boobs were made for a company called Silimed, just for decoration of the office.
Everything was done in Photoshop and Painter.
