    Transport for the Priest

Hello guys, well I made this one to try the new Painter X, wich i used in probably 80% of the process, at the end i couldn't resist so I jumped back to Photoshop . My purpose here is to do some Sci-fi pointing more to the fantasy side. Some kind of priest patrolling the city with his flying ship. Also, I was trying a more loose technique wich means of course less time, comments and critics are 100% welcome

Nice piece. Good colours and those metal struktures looks great, but I think that backgrounds texstures are too sharp. That reduces feeling of depth.

o nice hows painter X? havent got chance to try it yet! anyways few crits:
i can see u want the background to read like a sky view city though it is too saturated and doesnt express the sense of depth. and the texture makes it pop foward way too much.

Lighting isnt very consistant. And the priest could use more work to make him more interesting and engaging to look at. rite now he doesnt read quite as a religious member. You can also get some reference on draping cuz the costume is read stiff rite now.
the peice still need some fine tune though its very nice =)
