    helping a fellow artist out: NEENJA STYLE

    as seen in thread http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...97#post1219297 in the critique center, ive come up w/ a few ms paint sketches to hopefully help this guy out. got a naruto headband holding up pigtails w/a chakra blade and a chi ball as character details. heres what i came up w/:

    w/ ur color scheme


    and yea, im poor so i gotta do this all w/ a mouse, :crosses fingers wanting photoshop and a tablet: ne1 know if the cheapest place to get em, and if student discounts help w/ the price?

    Photoshop is expensive. I guess student discounts are out there, but it's still rather expensive.

    You might wanna try to get Open Canvas (earlier versions that allow you to network), Open Canvas is free. Artrage is also out there, but i'm not sure if it's for free, it was for a while. There's also Gimp, that could help you out.

    If you buy a wacom, you'll get a cd with Painter Essentials with it. When it comes to a tablet, wacom is the one to go, they have several versions out that vary from superexpensive to reasonable.

    Why not try some natural media while you save up for proper computer stuff?
