The last one is really wonderful
Thanks for passing by and for the advice Hope to see more from your work
Ahh your art is awesome ! I really like the storybook feel of it, but I especially enjoy your characters. They have a lot of energy to them, and they are very expressive! I have to admit that I'm much more impressed with the art I've seen in this thread, than what I've seen on your DA gallery. (you should revamp it a bit I think, because it doesn't showcase all of your strongest work)
I will definitely keep an eye on your art.
@AustenFM: Thank you, I will keep it up!
@chuck18mp: Thank you, the original sketch was super old but I remembered I had it so I fixed it up and painted it.
@monkeyman478: Silly sketches are the best sketches.
@sageguy: Thank you ^^
@majaiku: The secret to clean watercolors is lots of water, keeping your paints clean, not overworking it, and letting your washes dry before moving on. Else you end up with mud mud mud!
@Josef K.: Thank you sir!
@Quikenobi: You are very welcome.
@Wingedchime: Revamped! I look forward to talking to you soon and watching in return *watchwatch*
Just a couple of things I've been working on the past few days.
Wow I really like your style you have some really great stuff.
I really really like the texture on the two headed golem really ancient like
Okay, going through the pages...
I love "The George and the Dragon"!
Those Egyptian god icons are adorable! Did you ever use them for anything? I'm in love.
LOL, the Sausage, Bird, and Mouse death scenes are so morbid, yet cute. D:
I'm finding that I tend to like your rougher works more than the really polished stuff. I think you're losing a certain amount of liveliness when you 'finish' some of these characters. Hmmmm...
All those little golem designs are really charming.
Your figure drawings really show improvement over time!
LOL, the Cloud/Sephiroth pic. XDDD
And the eel image! I love it so.
@Quikenobi: Thank you as well!
@Cacodaemonia: I think I should probably look into inking more stuff on paper, I think I usually kill things in photoshop *shrugs* I am still trying to figure that out. I think part of my problem is that in illustrator I am super clean and it messes me up a little. Hopefully if I get the drawings done on paper I won't lose so much liveliness . . . of course I have lost livelyness with ink too. Maybe really clean pencils?
New stuff! Sketches, and which EVIL golem do you like best?
I am thinking of 5 but with the head and arms off of 2.

wow great updates! love how you bring life into your characters - those character sheets are awesome! the golums are great - like the style! keep sharing
@algenpfleger: I love that you love eeeeeeeeet!
@NoodleDoodle: They are so fun! I don't know why it took me ages to paint them.
@L0rin: I am glad they keep their energy as they are very energetic in my head!
@Josef K: Yay life!
New stuff: The evil golem, some studies from posemaniacs/characterdesign.com. WIP faerie painting, a wip probably won't be finished painting and a very silly sketchbook page. My roommate did part of it, I did the colors for most though. Cept for the bee, thats all her.
Oh man, your 90-second gesture drawings are so much more interesting than mine! I need to try and learn how to make things look cartoony in an awesome way.
If you do work more on the 'probably not going to finish wip', you definitely need more darks in the shadowed areas.
I like the tree rat.
Looking through your sketchbook has really inspired me to go out and buy some decent pencils and a sketchbook that doesn't open vertically (no offense to anyone who likes them, but I strongly dislike them) and just go out drawing people around town. Which will be so easy since I'm getting my license soon (if I pass the test ) and will hopefully be buying Bridgman's Constructive anatomy soon as well. I've never felt this compelled looking through someone's sketchbook on here!
I don't have any money now, but I just got hired as a lab tech!
First up: A drawing a did for this poster thing at DA. Pretty goofy but it was fun to do.
Second: For a DMC over at Monkeyslunch
Third: Sketchbook, yeah and the page with the golem.
Last: Still WIP.
LOL, I hadn't seen my little top hat(less) guy yet! He's adorable. XD Your character poster looks awesome. I love how each of them has a distinct style and line quality.
Hey, I love your stuff, but my English teachers have always said "irregardless" isn't a word.
I really like your style, your style is one of my favourite in here!
My Sketchbook [ACTUALLY UPDATED!]
I have 800 posts
Wow, this last post is the definition of lovely
Wow! Lovely drawings Awesome ideas and linework. The golems from the top of the page are just amazing; I suddenly feel the need to try to invent my own golems I wish I could offer you any helpful advice, but seriously, this is just too amazing I will definitely keep visiting this book (subscribed!). Thanks for the inspiration and keep up the good work.
