Absolutely awesome sketchbook. Seeing that you live in SF, you should apply to the Conceptart Atelier. The only thing I notice about that last one is that her right hand looks slightly larger than her left.
Oh and can I ask what school you go to? I have a few years but I'd like to at least think about what school I'm going to go to.

Man, these last couple of weeks have not been good to me and my roommate. We have to find a place to live! Fuck! All i want to do is go to school and draw at workshops, why all this bullshit! Damn! Anyways, some updates from the last week, i have alot more figurative work but it very time consuming to scan them all especialy when i dont have a digi cam and my scanner is just 8 by 11.

1 min quick studies from the quick studies workshop

40ish minute pose from Thursday's workshop

Serveral 7 minute poses from Friday's fashion workshop

and some 10 min poses from Henry's class

This is a preview of my DWIII character. She's an Invoker with earth- based artifacts. So another words, she's an earth bender! Anyways, Her arms are suppose to be chained to the rocks on her back(haven't finish the rendering, obviously, and she can use the artifacts as a shield and even a projectile similar to Kratos. I'm not sure where imma go with this, still researching. This contest is gonna be a blast, though. well....gotta go back to finish rendering this sketch.

Great work on the Dominance War character Gue. Can't wait to see her finished. Are you going to have her modeled too as most of their stuff is in 3D?

Noticed too that you are getting back to digital drawing for your original characters..giving up on the pencil designs?

i absolutely love the way you render volume. small hatches down to dark tones and the way you give the flesh a very strong three dimensional feel. great work

Nadiamoon : thanks, Nadia. Thanks again for your reference.
algenpfleger: But is it extravagant? That and more episodes to come.....stay tune....
Shaddix1980: Thanks. Na, actually this year's DWIII has two categories: game model and concept art, im doing the concept art. The ones that are nude are actually drawn in pencil but my DWIII character is photoshopped because I'm lazy...and it's quicker...
bakatron: thanks, i learned alot from observing other ppl's style and combining them
    DARAF: thanks
Eon : I'm glad you did. Observing is an underrated thing these days...

Just got back from Henry's workshop so tired must sleep.....

did this from the Thursday workshop 40 mins

From todays fashion workshop...silhouette studies, it's kinda fun and it helps you recognize shapes

Henry's workshop. From top left to bottom right: 2mins, 5 mins, 10 mins, and 20 mins. Man, I love this model, she's so rhythmic!!!

Really awesome anatomy and character stuff.

Just a general critique from a personal view. You exaggerate muscles on your imaginative female figures quite often. Nothing wrong with that, but personally, I don't find it very appealing.

    Peace out.
