    my senior project...

so this here is my sr project! I designed tee shirts. these are five of the seven designs I made. I'm looking to get a few printed, but not all, so if you could bust the poll w/ your vote for the one you think is the best, that would be pretty awesome (the options are in the order of the pieces)! critiques and thoughts on the project are welcome too. thanks for the look - see
    Chris

Don't be a jerk Ajtron, we're all here to get feedback.

On a quick note to frog&bam you should label the choices more clearly or at least state if the options given correlate the order the pictures show up. My vote goes to the last one personally, since it's a school thing.

I think the problem with pen&ink is that there is no Ctrl+z command.

writers and artists have a lot in common -- we both draw from life, we both paint pictures, and we'll both spend to many sleepless nights on our work.

brown/yellow/red intrigues me the most because it invites me to figure out what's up -- good gestural figure, intriguing glance off-stage (so to speak), and the ever-popular "why's she turned away and how can i get her to notice me" madonna (not the singer, the classic reference, you punks )

it's also the least static of the set, which i value, at least. the others seem very, very formal, even contrived to some degree.

Thanks! Yea thats a much less design oriented one, at the start I really wanted most of them to look like that, but I really got into design, and so that didn't end up happening.

Just to let you know, I'm an idiot and I voted before I looked at the actual pictures or read the thread, so one of those "octopus" votes was just because I liked that word best.

Brown/yellow/red would look the best on a shirt.

i think brown/yellow/red is turning out to be the clear choice. it has real style to it, the rest really just feel like your take on current trends.

Thanks guys. Sourgasm, right on with that, I really was taking after alot of popular design concepts. Last bump here, thanks to everyone who voted, really helped me out .

Yea you really have some great things happening with "brown yellow red." On another note you might want to actually make a Tshirt template shape and position the graphics on them where they might actually be if printed. The "bones" one is cool but I dont know where it would sit on a shirt. The long, thin format makes it hard to visualize as a product. On another note I think "octopus" might be more successful if the tentacle were rendered in a style like "emo glasses". The little circles representing suction cups are very smooth and uniform while the current tentacle is roughly rendered. They just dont mesh well IMO.
