Hey welcome to CA!
Are those copied for comic or? And are you painting with mouse or tablet? O_o
I suggest you to start making sketches of things from life,anything,from cup to person,to practice the hand,the linework etc and eventually to create your own style....sure at first try to imitate your favourite artist and his style (not trace but imitate!)...nothing comes without practise and HUGE WILL!
Good start, keep it coming. When coloring in photoshop try to make your colors a little less transparent in the end product and keep the edges sharp. Also make sure you're not just using the burn/dodge tool for light and shadows, do some studying from life and you'll see that shadows and highlights aren't just the midtone lightened or darkened up.
Very good considering it was colored with a touchpad!
Scetchbook -> here
KALE: thanks dude, yeah lol i do lighting with the doge tool. like i said i do for fun, ill take a look at the serious side of art like studying books etc after gcse any recomendations?

Hey welcome to CA!
If you want to make the sketches appear darker what I do is take the brightness down and put the contrast up in photoshop. You can find the brightness/contrast tool under image>adjustments>brightness/contrast
Ill keep an eye out for the new pictures
Ah you got them up before I posted!

Welcom to cA!! Hey thanks for checking out my SB. You know for 15 you're not bad. I wasn't drawing like this at 15. But as someone here has already mentioned, draw more from life and study up real anatoomy, not so much the comic style. It will help guide you into your own unique style as you progress. You're doing well, just work in some more figure and anatomy studies to supplement your normal concepts. Keep on going and don't stop. I'll be back again to check on your progress

here was the original images for both which i should have posted first but im an idiot whey there ya go lifes life.
Don't take this the wrong way, but perhaps using photoshop isn't something you should be focusing on right now - your main objective right now, even if you're just doing art for fun, is to practice drawings. Skill in draftsmanship (from life reference) is the backbone of painting, illustration, concept art, what have you - gotta learn to draw before you can effectively tackle photoshop. I paint using oils -- if I'm frustrated with a painting, or just painting in general, I'll just take a break for a week or two and work on some drawings or fill up a sketchbook. When I return to the painting or start another one I generally find that my skills as a painter have developed even though I haven't actually touched my brushes. Draw people, get down some anatomy, add to your visual vocabulary, and then you can kind of pluck those little aspects out of your head when working from imagination. Nice to see that you enjoy what you do, keep it up.
fair call myxomatosis, however i have several sketchbooks full of stick men working up to torso scribbles and muscle structures, there just not worth the paper they are drawn on therefore can be botherd to take the time to scann them on and use up valuble bandwith space or thread posts.
but thanks for comment i will post just a few
