I particularly like the knee joints mixing vertebrate and invertebrate structure.

    Stunning.

i´m interested to know where that other horn´s coming from.. since the one closer to the cam appears to be directly in the middle of the head.

Love colours, lightning and the cape (the whole being a part of his skin and all that)

as for the snakes.. I (and i´m not kidding about this) think it looks a bit too innocent... compared to the "Wraaaar-- I´m the über kick ass evil daemon.. I will devour the souls of babies and fart in your general direction" look of it. Perhaps add more snakes... and the colours on the snakes.. i´d go for a more dangerous looking scheme, as seen here:

    .. my two cents

That is truly phenomenal J-K. How long do you reckon it took you? Would love to see any preliminary sketches you have on it, or even better a step by step tutorial.

The detail in this...omg I think I would go blind. I can't get over you use of textures. Just stunning. Truly awe-inspiring. I really can't say enough about this without just mindlessly gushing my admiration....Crazy good.

So how many times did you decide you were finished, only to have yourself 2 hours later "touching up"?

You've put a lot of love into this. I can feel the textures of that guy's clammy skin through my monitor. Great lighting and colors. You definitely give substance and life to your detailing. Keep doing it.

How can I grow me one of those attachable skin cloaks?

    yeah, wow.

can't add anything more then what's allready said.
dan gives some good points 'bout the gesture.
I love the detail dude, the cape of flesh is very convincing. You don't even need
to see that it's attached at the neck. Very nice paint job !

Hehe, good idea but I have found one of your other works. Now I have on my desktop one of yours "elfish" chick's head (from ImagineFX). Love the eyes of this girl.

Damn, this is so stunning, so awesome, I join the group of the speechless.
You raise the bar sky high and gave a new definition to digital painting. Kudos on that.

On another note, are you making this a print?? Because I want to buy a poster of this and hang it on my wall! If you ever do that, let us know, this is truly an inspiration to everyone.

    Uhhh...duh, duh, d.....

...I could say how great all the elements are...but...you obviously know what your doing...insane amount of detail and I love the design of the character, creativity/concept of character is amazing...

PS...it took me a while to post because I was in awe and frankly lost track of time...keep it up

Holy mama, this is very outstanding, espacially the skinrender is perfect. I'm nearly not daring to crit, but the muscles in the groinarea are a bit overdone (how could a guy walk upright with so much muscles pulling down). But it's fantasy and it is done in a superb way that makes me feel incompetent!
