Nutter - Love it. Might just get my vote.

Marco Mazzoni - Incredibly good rendering. Good concept too!

After a slow career of plumbing, carpentry and wrestling, Mario finally became the host of his very own talkshow, The Super Mario Bros Super Show. Luigi, as the one-man-orchestra of the show, would every week greet the audience with the theme song "Do the Mario". The show is currently in it's fifth season.

Poor Guy... His only real talent being jumping around solving puzzles, he became the perfect main attraction for the local zoo.

Gorgoth of Suburbia: I'm not sure, but I think Lugi's suit should have the same saturation level as Mario's suit. Right now he looks gray in comparison to Mario's popping outfit. What do you think?

dragon4lunch - The idea was to make Luigi blend more in with the background and put Mario in focus. I realize now that it didn't work out.

Macar - To put it this way: They didn't go from being mere plumbers to talk show hosts without having a few 'connections' here and there.

LOL, guillemhp! Loving the mad facial hair.

I spent a few hours on an entry but have now changed direction. Doubt I'll finish it though :/

    Cool ideas so far.

Hey guys. Had to do Link. I guess from Zelda 2, since it had to be on the original NES. He couldn't adapt to our world and spends all his time playing video games. Now he loves the Wii version of Zelda, since its as an escape to a "better time".
Ok, this is my final now....

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but some of those guys either weren't on the original NES, or weren't playable characters. But hey, they look awesome! Well, except Yoshi, he looks sick. Good sick, but sick! You may need professional help, Nutter!

Oh dang, I wish I had found this thread earlier! I'm so tempted to pump something out, but it probably would end up somewhat sub-par and rushed. I'll do it anyway, though, this topic is too brilliant to resist. So many ideas... bursting...

Maybe I'll do one and then play with this topic after the deadline, for fun.

JLAlfaro: Ha, the screenshot is from Turtlels in Time for the SNES! Yeah!!! Great game. It was too easy though and I think one could beat the whole thing in 1 hour or so.

Aw, I made a mistake... I did a character that's not actually playable on the NES, but he's in NES games, and he's a Nintendo character that's made playable on the SNES... can I still post it?

My first CHOW. Been stalking, but never finished anything. I'll be stoked just to make it to the vote.

When Karnov materialized in the real world, he ended up a professional wrestler, becoming on of the most popular champions for 7 years. Meanwhile he used his money to study law, learning how politics works in the U.S. He championed the civil rights of Artifical Sentient Beings, passing several anti-discrimination laws. Soon he parlayed this into a seat in the Senate. Hopes to be President of the United States one day, if only the Constitution allowed.
