here's an update on the handpainted environment I posted a few post back. I brought it into the unreal editor and took a screen shot. so.. here it is
some specs if you are intrested ;
Diffuse map+ spec map in UE. 4x256 1x512 and 2 64x64 textures. ~5k tris.
It's been really fun to do I'm thinking of adding some glowing specks coming of the lanterns.
Wow your rendering skills are badass! I like the concepts from post #642. I don't see how they are lame! The mood is great. same with the 3D environment, sick lighting! The way it's rendered makes it look like a painting, good work!
some sketches I did while playing around with cs5. The new brushes in ps have alot of potential . Cant wait to see what people with skillz can do with them
I did a lowpoly of the 3d guy i started a page back too1 It's ~9500 triangles in total with a 2048 texture map for the body and a single 1024 for the head.
Those forest textures are really sweet.
