    CthulhuTech Book Cover

This book has been in the making for a couple years and there are quite a few CA members that have, and are working on it to make sure it hits stands in May via Mongoose Publishings help. The cover was a collaborative effort with Trevor Claxton painting over my pencils. Trevor and I are going to be working together for a little while longer on another project that should be hitting comic stands sometime in the May/June time frame as well.

    What a tasty treat.

Is there more text to be added?

Also, trevor, mind if I ask where you acquired the arcane-esque diagrams I've seen in your work?

    hey cog
i use a lot of stuff from "le grande grimiore" an old french tome telling how to summon demons and cast spells and such
    here is a link
    http://www.esotericarchives.com/solomon/grand.htm

i also create alot of it from scratch using clip art images and design elements from these great books put out by dover publishing that come with a cd with all the images in 6 diff formats
i just drag em into illustrator vectorize them and start moving stuff around
here is a link to their website its really handy to have

    http://www.doverbooks.co.uk/

    hope that helps
if you do any graphic designs the 12 to 14 dollor books pay for themselves in a matter of minutes hahah

Yup, there are a few logo's that will be added on to the cover. We're going back and forth on that at the moment. I don't want it to look like a trade show convention poster with an ass ton of logos on it. We need to add the Blacksky Studios logo, WildFire, Mongoose Publishing, and Flaming Cobra.

very cool image. I like how clean and rich in color that it is. however i never really like it when there is a mirrored image, or an image that clearly splits the work as a whole. the red eyes in the background are all i end up looking at, I think if they were a little more toned down or desaturated the image would be much more successful in my eyes (but that's IMO)

    good work on this.

Very very hot. The weird technical aesthetic (as well as the typography) reminds me of some of the glamour art from that games workshop game Inquisitor. Five stars!

amazing work, one crit however. The composition appears a little busy, I think if you put most of the warm colors on the woman in the foreground and toned down some of the warmth in the other characters it would make an extra pop.

really nice work! only thing that bothers me is the girls head. It seems a little big or out of place. Other than that great painting!

thanks alot guys for the kind words and crits
i actually had saved this in steps but the files were so big i just ended up deleting the first half of the steps of painting
i still have the ending steps but im not sure its really worth seeing
its mainly just some polish and nitpicking

VIGO-ask mike for the pencils lol

    as far as the crits
im not sure i will be doing any more work on this lol
its been approved as far as i know and is in the process of being turned into promo material (i think)

i think her belly button should be more oval and less round.
    how's that for crits?
