    hey flick thanks!

hey yall, i was thinking about stopping this sketchbook, ill explain why.

When is started this sketchbook i was very into drawing.. it was sort of an obsession of me. I was intruiged by all the great artists on this site and tried to become like one of them. I wanted to be as impressive as them. Not sure why i was so intruiged by this, i had an underlying thought that it will bring me somewhere i want to be.
Since i have been doing industrial design in delft i have learned much more about why i would want to draw in the first place and the small place it takes within all the qualities a good designer should have. also i have come to the conclusion that i think concept art in general (with a few exceptions) is very shallow.
At the moment i feel i should take a step back and develop myself more allround as a designer. I see this sketchbook as a period where i developed myself as an illustrator. Now i want to do the same for becoming a good designer.
I will post again i think, but not here. I also dont know when i will start posting again..

i want to thank you all for the attention you gave me!

hey man its sad to hear that I love looking at your work. But I understand where your coming from. If its not to much to ask could you post on this sketchbook where you might post next because I'd love to follow your work man.
But so long I guess you have forever inspired me.

nice designs lately , like the small greenish car ^^ , and the chow looks really nice in color and atmosphere

but as far as woman portraits go , I always sustained that no one can destroy the beauty of a female figure better then the designers hand

    cheers

Wicked ID pieces, a true delight for the eye and mind ~ and that last mountain landscape was an added pleasure to an already superlative show of force.

Also the creature sketches you are making seem very promising, and it would be interesting to see them more worked out, especially to see some more organic rendering

Dan & a happy new year

Awesome updates. Your industrial stuff is really solid and your characters have a great style. Is the red book only for train sketches and people sketches or your new sketchbook for everything?
    Looking forward to see more
