Nice stuff dude. The second step is far more interesting as a value study because in the final version those lines conflict with the upper part.
There is a nice focal point in the second one on the cockpit, thats gone in the last one because of the lines.

    Cool stuff all around!

thanks epias. yeah, well i worked on that parted a little more because that is the vocal point indeed its such a waste to not use the lines in the final version.. but indeed, i like the paintish (my multiplay layer) one, so thats why i posted it hehe

im trying to get a better understanding in values and edges.. im learning some new things here.. i dunno but there is just something...what makes this picture look so wrong.. but what?

ha ha yes, cant will not stay still while in their cool positions.Might have a comfortable drawing time while they're asleep, but in that case after a few sketches you might as well be drawing a loaf of bread

*putting cash away for th book*
*hoping its going to work as well for him*

yeah! I so love this sketchbook! ^^
Gorgeous pencil drawings! I really like your quick cat drawings as well, they have some movement but still cleanness which looks really nice.
Also the last digital painting is nice, great values! But I'd say either crop it, or smoothen out and put a bit of detail in the side areas ^^ they distract a bit. But I know it's still a WIP. ^^

    Keep it up ^^

No: thanks, yeah i am working on it still, i changed that bit already. i've worked on that one 3 times now (record for me) and im trying to make it my best piece yet

this is a lowsy excuse as an update because i did it in 1 minute and with a mouse (im with my parents now) i think ill work on it more tomorrow just to check out how i can make it look, just by drawing with the mouse and using the selection tool a bit..

~Faust~: hey faust, good to hear from you again! the last digital was started as an abstract painting and then i saw sort of a landscape in it.

this one is another landscape, started very abstract. pretty fun. i think the foreground still sucks so maybe i will fix that.

Wow very awesome! I agree on the foreground, though. I thnk it's because you've been so abstract and focused on the composition with the rest of the image and suddenly you painted a pine-tree in it, it's like putting a mustache on the Mona Lisa. Take care man!

teh, you might want to raise up that mountain in the focal area...since the one behind it is the same height (and really, by perspective it would be taller), it distracts from the one in front...so you may want to do something else to differentiate it. you're definitely working hard man; keep it up!
