    Onikaizer creatures

    Hello People:

I have been a science illustrator for quite sometime, but i am trying to train myself in digital painting for concept design. This is the first quick piece i have done digitally, trying to give a little texture.

Thanks for the comments if any

    nice start!

i like the skin effect, the eye maybe misses a bit of life, that could have been added imho by working a bit more on it...

    keep sharing!

    ciao

    More dinosaur designs

I tried this new technique with black and white underpaint and color and overlay blending mode layers on top.

a Really good start with your SB, and your digitals - good luck, not that you seem to need it

Nice textures indeed, but try to create more ligth/shadow areas so it won't appear so flat

I agree with wolfbane, some darker values would give the pieces more depth.

The last one is really nice, keep it up.

wow, those are some kickin dino paints. the textures are working out well for you. it might help if you designed some brushed to help you get all those little details in there. try turning down the spacing in the bush options to create little dots. you might also try the scatter effect. i also agree with the guys above, try to figure out your value structures a little more to define form. great start! keep posting

    take care

    War, The horseman

Here, a classic view of one of the horsemen of apocalypse, with an armor stained by the blood of millions.

Focus on composition and mood setting. That one environment reads really flat and has really no depth. Your character stuff is really nice though. Peace! XD
