Here is a few sketch's i did with deadred in OpenCanvas. The colored Udder-baby was colored by deadred.

sorry that updates dryed up this week. I believe my Wacom stylus is some how dying and I've ordered a new one.

I can still draw with the stylus yet i get a perfect "sine" pattern when i try to stroke at certain angles, which drives me insane.... so any painting I've been doing lately has been in 1-2 hour bursts fraught with frustration.

anyways, with the excuses out of the way, i did a cow based on my vocal freakery.

If you haven't heard the sound voice the creature is based on, go here: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/act...ow-wizzle3.mp3

Hope you all like... first cow I've done in awhile. Fozzy and I plan on setting up future sound-based cows. The frequency of when they go up hasn't been decided.

Hey man, cool beasties you have here. I loved the movie "The Thing" John Carpenters version that is.. Great film. And so the piece you painted is my fav.

Digging the thumb nails as well. Your last piece makes me think all cute and cuddly LOLZ... I was not expecting that after I seen the rest of your sketchbook haha. =]

I haven't been updating as frequently as i normally do because of my broke stylus... but good news! after getting a new stylus, completely removing painter and reinstalling it (loosing all my old textures and brushes... ). I know can paint regularly again.

Here's a piece i started with my broken stylus and old textures that I'm finishing up with new textures and new stylus...

thats a lot of explanation for a little piece :/

excellent lighting man! the pose though is a bit awkward, the balance feels off, the right arm seems to bee thiner than the left. color wise i think you need to mash things up and but more hues in to them, they are to pure for my taste, not sure though if its just a taste problem or not.

what I mean is, the red is red the blue is blue, not the red is green brown yellow pink wich i think you would benefit, it looks sterile, ordered and absolute.

nice concept though, I hope you dont take my critique the wrong way, I love your stuff, if else come and bash me in my SB. *hugs*

Excellent work here dude, I can't really say anything as of critique but I might be able help you with that last dude... perhaps it's how his form-weight is distributed is not really clicking right. Maybe just changing the dude's left leg position will help out with the weight distribution. (he's also looking like he's missing a thumb on his right hand...)

Just some observations, I could be mistaken.
