    Check it out!

    Hey everyone,

    alright, i know my first posting was a little lame with the whole still-life, so i thought i would change it up and throw something i like better into the mix

    feed back is always welcome!!

    It's a self portait with thor...for those wondering

    Vallan,

    Nothing to critique really, self portraits I think are one of the hardest things in the world to do, and I think you have done a wonderful job.

    Two things did catch my eye however. The size difference in the eyes on your face, and then Thor's head seems out of place a bit. I know that naturally humans eyes are different, but the one on the right is off a bit, the whole socket seems a bit large.

    I hope that helps a bit, if not feel free to shoot me a PM and complain, or ask any other advice :: )

    hi,
    great style and a good picture.
    i agree what small creatures say. but the first thing i see is: it rains but the hair is not wet. put some thin and strong highlights on the hair.

    thanks for the imput guys,

    yeah, now that i look at it, the eye does seem a bit larger,

    and next answer; it was done in acrylic paint.

    I dunno about anybody else...but the water on their face looks more like "money shots." Maybe cause it looks like its only hitting their face. Sorry, Im a dirty man.

    Also, your ear looks kinda small, but maybe you have small ears in real life.

    that is pretty funny, but kinda disturbing, yeah i guess they could be blue or something, and yes i do hav smaller ears....i am kinda sensitive about it ...just kidding.
