Great stuff as usual jerk I wish I could have been there to sketch boats and peeps with you guys. Not much to draw in Burbank, as far as interesting stuff.... well, when I'm able to draw outside. I really like the Chinese architecture work. Great simplification and suggestion of shapes. I always struggle with that. You should be here drawing stuff.

Hey guys! Long time no see.

a la bapsi: Yep, those are all thin gel pens, my favorite for location sketching.

    wink_ma: Thanks!

minjarr: Thanks a lot for looking ;P

    Newbs: I'll keep trying... lol.

    kidult: thank you!

Monika Gruszka: thanks, its one of the only pictures I've ever done in painter but I'd like to use that program more.

    cakeypigdog: thanks a lot!

Chromosome: Some day we'll make it down to the wharf and draw. I'll try to keep up.

lilnebo: Hey! how's it going? Thanks for the hand compliment... thing... haha.

chr!z: Yeah it has been awhile. I keep on procrastinating! Thanks for the encouragement!

Some school stuff and a LOT of studies! some quick oil paintings (ranges from 7-40 minutes), a page of gouache watercolor studies, a page of digital studies, and a project I did last semester for my inspirational art for animation class. Most of the studies done from environments are from photos and movies, with one zorn master copy and one sorolla master copy. Except for the last page of the "mongolian story."

Great paintings, and I love those little thumbnails.

I'd like to see them a tad bigger though ;D Some look really promising. Glad to see you're still alive

A technical question about those oils above, do you have your colors ready on your palette, or do you mix up on the canvas? I really like your loose feel of those brushstrokes, it shows you got some good knowledge of where to place lighting and such.

    Got more? ;D

Good job lady. Where's the full sized painting of the witch doctor talking to the girl?
