    Very Expressive

I love how expressive your figures are. I usually have to exaggerate anatomy to convey movement and attitude.

a girl i see in the bus...those days you think: what if...?
Just start a conversation to build comfort. A lot of what holds us back is just approach anxiety -- confidence goes a long way.

If you're interested, here's a good example of a guy getting two phone numbers on the bus. The first post in the thread is good... the others probably don't pertain to your situation.

Again, great stuff. I need to be a prolific as you with my CA Sketchbook.

Great silhouettes DIMAGYAN. I really like how you use the white on the black figured over the grey bg.

The last batch of sketches have real good poses and weight. I would move the gunman up or over to the left a bit though to make it so it doesn't look like she's holding an action figure by the leg

Love your stuff though, keep it up.

mr.right:thanks! im working to be more expressive, its something very important to me,especially in the figures.well anatomic distortion is a valid way to achieve expression in my opinion.

he... you are right, anxiety and confidence have a great part in that kind of situations...well we talk a bit, she step over my foot and say to me:sorry, and i say: no problem...well that was the conversation haha.
thanks for the link,i need a registration and then i can read the thread.

nah,i have to work much more specially with perspective.

    thanks for stop by!

Dreln:thanks! haha i didn't see it that way!...but now that you pointed the action figure situation, every time i see the image i see the gunman as a toy! haha...i have to fix that!

    thanks for the encourage!

more sketches...i have to do something finished!

I think I need more of your faces. How do you get so much diversity? I cannot for the life of me get my faces to look different unless i use ref and reference can only take me so far ya know? So, yeah, something finished would be fantastic. What happened to your supergirl? She was close to being finished, then you just abandoned her! ;'( Why? lol. You should have joined Last Man Standing when it got started. Maybe next time around eh? Love what I see and will continue to throw useless at you

Stark:haha thanks.the funny thing is i think i need more variation, more knowledge(right word?) in the subject. well to be honest i don't know *exactly* what i do. in general i try to feel the face, make it "real". but the result is far from what i want to achieve. i like a lot caricaturizations, so every time i can i put something exagerated.and i observe all the time:life, the mirror, photos, etc. i don't use "direct references" (imagination, memory still is visual reference in my opinion),but i should start though.

hehe i abandoned the left supergirl because i was bored...bah i can't finish my works!!! i enjoy more the sketching stage, the rest not to much...(my bad)

lms? mmm i don't know...im not ready to do such type of works.

thanks for the encourage. keep working, and have fun. in the end that is the principal impulse you need to make faces or anything else.

I love your sketches, they have a wonderful sense of form and the lines are flowing and beautiful. I adore the sketch of the dancing woman in #243.

    Diego,
Suerte!

    Diego,
That's a great thing you have made that choice of not posting more skecthes until you finish one of them. That will be a great incentive to make you push further. A thing I would suggest would be to start a thread on the WIP so you can get some advise and motivation on the way. Good luck!

I really like your way to cut off the light of the skin and keep white it, with the other color (black or other). Very very intersting!

mmm...ok, this idea of posting only "finished" work i had before is not working quite well...so i will post anything instead...still i have to find a way to finish something...bah! what a lazy drawer i am!

some sketches and a couple of cartoons(?) i don't know how to call it exactly...a bit nostalgic of the past...

FunkdaFide:thanks! i will keep on it

    FunkdaFide: gracias! continuare con ello.
