    Comic Pages!

Is it possible to get some english translations on those beautiful comic pages?

Really the colors are just splendid!

mr.right:thanks! glad you liked the colours.i made a very rough translation with the help of an online translator(i really don't like those things! he).the script is not mine, so this translation is only with the purpose to understand the text on the comic.hope you can understand something!

    well, some sketches:

Buen trabajo.

Quizas sería divertido traducir algunas comicas a veces.

    ---

Hello sir - I'm glad to see some finished work, and I like the pages above. Good work!

How many pages does the comic have, and how many more do you have left to go? I like the simple shapes. Did you use PS or Illustrator?

It's possible that you don't need as much detail around her collarbone in the first panel of p. 2. I like the lines between her breasts on the second page, but we could see more clearly on p. 1 that she doesn't have them earlier.

It might be fun to translate some comics sometime. We went to Puerto Rico in August and I picked up a few issues of a comic called "1898" that I am (slowly) reading.

Take a look at my series of in-depth critiques, like this one of Salvador Dali's hidden portrait of Lincoln.

scottmcd:hello. thanks! i used photoshop elements 6. that comic was only two pages.the idea was to end the story with the same character that enter in the first panel of page one...i guess is not too clear. yeah, it posible to remove some of the details about her collarbone, i need it to show that both characters began to look very tired and thin so i tried to show her bones more and more...but probably is not too clear the reason.its a good point, i will keep iy in mind for next time(this story was published in december)

so you are reading comics in spanish? very nice(if you can find it somewere read "el eternauta" and "mort cinder"). i read english comics a bit slow too hehe. i don't translate too much of what i post in here because my english is not good enough...but i guess i could used as a practice. thanks for stoping by!

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saludos man, te deseo lo mejor.

Hola.

    ----

Hey. You should definitely watch Sean of the Dead, as well as Hot Fuzz by the same guys. I like your sketch in the CHoW - that bird is great. Like you say, the left arm is a little stiff. I wish I had time for this CHoW, but I have another project going on this week. Hopefully I'll post it in a couple of weeks.

Take a look at my series of in-depth critiques, like this one of Salvador Dali's hidden portrait of Lincoln.

Looking good, especial like the two guys with swords facing off ( gu2.jpg) there's something great about the poses and the way the picture tells a story, definitely worth more than a 1000 words. Cool graphic novel pages too, shame I don't read Spanish though I think I'm getting the gist of it from the images =)

Liked your sketch in CHOW -- really like these comic book panels! Good storytelling, wish I could read the text. Nice anatomy overall. I notice that some of your more rendered pieces tend to have spaces that are super dark. I think the rendered pieces could use a little bounce light to suggest some form happening in those dark places... like the black background in the girl vs tentacle arena pic, and the torso and leg of the biker/trinity chick.

I haven't made a post in this sketchbook since 2009.The main reason i started to post in CA.org back in 2007 was to level up, to practice and to develop an habit for drawing as much as i could.Somehow those are the same reasons im starting to post again...a sort of returng to the gym.

Anyway, don't want to mumble to much so here are a couple of images and hopefully, the next ones will be new and dailly.

lennon,scottmcd,Seaport,Dark_Eyes,midknight523,Qui ke Garcia,GriNGo,Verehin, zhiao, darklogik,Lav: Sorry for the late reply! and thanks a lot for your comments, i appreciate.

A re worked portrait after Joh English coments.I tryed to make a more balanced type of edges(not so blurry and loose like the original, a couple of posts above) and some variation on the temperature of the color in the head.

Thanks for watching and c&c are welcome.

    Cheers
