Vas bastante bien Diego.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey diego, I like what you are doing in your last updates. Nice variation in your heads and faces, also in style. The Naruto one has that nice touch of the leaves shadows on the characters and good used of the pattern. Maybe you can use different ones to distinguish different materials, sort of a texture perhaps.

About your finished works, a suggestion will be of setting a goal to yourself of getting one finished once per week or just once per month. And start with something simple and that interests you, sometimes the problem of a finished piece is having the patience of putting long hours into it. It is easier to do that when you have a strong motivation to get it done, then you can put the extra effort into it. For example, getting into contests or doing stuff as gift for friends, something along those lines. Is like your work in DEEP, the contest gave you a good reason and motivation to come up with those nice designs and ideas. This is just a personal opinion, so I hope it helps somehow.

Kakashi! I just got my daughter a stuffed toy Kakashi, and she's even gotten me reading the Manga. I'm past the chunin exams and we've just met Sasuke's brother for the first time.

Nice work as usual on the rest. Still not as finished as I'd like to see, but more than some others. I've been focusing on finishing and producing several pieces for a portfolio to take with me to the San Diego ComicCon next week, so I can relate to some of the tedious work that goes into refining.

I'd say the current CHoW is a good chance for you to work on finishing something, and I definitely think you should enter in the secondary judging.

(No spanish today - I'm at work taking a break. )

Take a look at my series of in-depth critiques, like this one of Salvador Dali's hidden portrait of Lincoln.

I agree with Rebegade89: there is a lot of potential. Comics or everydays' scnes illustrations could be perfect for you. Keep working, I wanna see more!

You've been busy since my absense! Everything still is amazing and I can't get over it. How have you been man? 3 months of art is a long time for me to go back and catch up on, so yeah...I'll just try to stay current with what you have now.

Hey DIMAGYAN! What an excellent SB, it's been a pleasure and an inspiration to browse through I really loved your Deep work, the character designs were especially amazing!

The diversity in your faces are a true beauty. Your line is so confident. I also like your semi-realism style you've got going on sometimes. Seems like your anatomy is spot on!

I could keep on the asspatting, but I think my point has come through. Keep up the sweet work

Stark:long time,eh? everything is ok, not as busy as should be but is ok.how have you been? i have to check your sketchbook when you upload something new. three months...you have a lot to check on the forums...starting with "deep" community challenge...was very fun. a great number of entries.

AsaB:hey thanks a lot! im glad you like my work.is nice to hear sometimes that someone enjoy your work so thanks for your kinds words!

anjin:thanks a lot! hehe i would like to make some everyday comics.yes i have to work more, thanks for the advice!

okay i have realize that its been a long time since i posted some drawings from my "real paper sb" so....time to change that:

Saludos.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey Diego, I like how you are developing your sketches for this week's CHOW. I also agree that the third one is the best one so far. Reading the character description on wikipedia, the character seems a bit complicated and interesinting, worth of further research. Hope to see how you developed it further for the poll.

On a side note, I find it very interesting and instructional your explorations of different types of eyes. That is something that makes one of your previous comments a bit more clear. Keep up with those! Cheers.

    ----------------------------------
Hey Dimagyan is good too see some finished pieces from you. That's a good thing for continue improving and digging a lot the last Sonja. Perhaps for future works you could work more on your textures and add more of those to distinguish better the material. A tip that helps for that is to think on what each material goes through, like the sword will have scratches from the constanting clashing in battles, and like that, the skin of the warrior could have some scars and wounds from battles showing her harsh lifestyle. This is a little of nitpicking, but could be of help for your future pieces.

As always, the sketches are looking very good, very nice gestures. Keep up with those Chows pieces, lately the topics have been great.

    Saludos

Looking good, especially like the pencil sketches, though I just wish I had my own Hyper Super Sword of Destiny

    saludos

Seaport:thanks. haha yeah, i wish the same!.thanks for stop by

Beautiful line work! Your sketches have a lot of dynamism! I even prefer them to your final paintings...

Clochette:thanks! yes, my paintings are pretty bad...im more a drawer i guess. this is somenthing i have to work on.thanks for stop by

Towarlock:je suis bien, merci!(ok, that the french i now, with the help of a translator ) thanks! yeah, i agree with both of you...painting is somenthing elusive to me.i need to work more.thanks for stop by

ok..for a change, some comic pages! (finally!) the script is not mine, is an adaptation of short story for a magazine here in montevideo.
lots of things i don't like of the final result, but the important thing to me at this moment is the process(eventually the final result need to be good, of course)
anyway, the two pages plus the same pages without the text and a couple of sketches:
