Night- thank you, it's kind of a transitional period in my work, I've been doing more small sculpture and building of structures, in some ways its a natural outgrowth of the watercolor subject matter.
Cerasela- thanks, its surprising how well some man-made materials can become camouflaged given the right context.
Some new watercolors.

Hey there! Great job on the watercolors and inks. The soluble graphite looks really interesting as well. I particularly enjoyed the abstract-ish shapes you drew from imagination. Thanks much for the suggestion on my SB I'll be coming back here for more great art for sure.

Really interesting posts aedman! I'm enjoying the watercolor sketches and wood structures your building. Been trying to teach myself watercolor but it's slow going. Started making watercolor charts, and learning the media through this site : http://www.handprint.com/HP/WCL/water.html Not sure if your familiar with it or not. Curious on your process of working? Have any process shots or tutorials by chance? Also cool to match the face with the art. Take care.

Nightblue- thanks, glad I could help
Yautja- thanks, I don't know how to describe my process really, I start with a simple line drawing of the basic forms usually, and then put in some basic value relationship with pale washes of color, sometime complementary. I will try to put together some documentation of my process soon, that will probably be a little more straightforward.
A drawing from a recent series.

BAhaha, only without the styrofoam. Dude, just found your sb and its really dope. You're sense of form and color in those water colors is really good and your pencils are nothing but envious. Those wood structures are really interesting as well, like others said its nice to see artists tackling things from all angles.

Texahol- thanks, I didn't sleep in it but it was pretty well insulated, I think it would have been fine even in the -25 weather.
Here's some basswood components I have been working on.

Very nice sketches! I also would love to see this ink stuff ( August 27th, 2008 ) in higher resolution. Looks like Moebius' shading. Great!
