Thanks Castor, Diego and Bushido! Trying to get in some more photoshop practice, a work in progress.
eek! the last one is scary XD but i wonder how it looks like when it's finished.
nice studies. i like the details and variety you put into them.

some more digital practice
Sweet studies man, keep on going.
Oh man, I haven't stopped by your SB in too long! There is all kinds goodness happening in here. The latest muscle studies have really nice color and volume! I'm also digging your pencils a ton too. I'm bookmarking your sketchbook for sure!
The close up of that weird frogish character on the last page made me laugh. I like the repetition of fish here, the green and orange work well together, variety of size, how the big fish looks to the right and the small ones to the left. http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1235067952
The eyeball guy's a funny little character.
I think it would be worthwhile to do a longish study from life, a few hours. I used to think it was hyped up but it forces you to confront whatever it is you need to work on, you're faced with what you love and what you hate about you're drawing method and style.

armando-thanks, you're dead on about the longer studies, very soon.
Been way too long, academics are taking up my time as of late. Here's some things I've been working on...
Some watercolors, I'm enjoying the nice spring weather.
Watercolors from this fall.
some moleskine pages from fall semester.
Oil paintings. The first one is done with a palette knife.
Some medium sized drawings.
Some watercolor inventions.
Thumbnail studies, no reference used.
Watercolors from a trip early this fall.
BlackDelphin- thanks, I found watercolor to be a pretty steep learning curve but I really enjoy working with it.
purb-thanks, unfortunately still no heat. Should be fixed tomorrow midday.
Some sketchup stuff, I'm thinking about doing some drawings/paintings from these models.
