malpanka- thanks, drawing from life has helped my understanding of how to represent different materials quite a bit but I still have a long way to go.
Landscape sketch, no ref, about 15 minutes.

another quick landscape, around ten minutes, just trying to figure out how to use different brushes and color relationships

Dooood that morphous puebloscape (the huge drawing) is off the chain. Exciting! Keeep up the studies, I can see your textures improving.

sweetness! your work is a treat for the eyes!

Your skills are crazy, especially your memory. I have the absolute worst memory in history. Now I know what I'm missing. I like how all your Boston/Cambridge studies manage to create that sense of cold, derelict abandonment - like everything made in Boston is soon left forgotten, unnoticed by anyone. Hmm, maybe I'm projecting.

Orozc0- thanks, that big drawing seems to get good responses, I'm starting studies for a series of drawings similar to that one.
TASmith-thank you, my memory could and should be better, but I'm working on it. I'm not sure what your experience with the Boston area is, but I think I know what you're saying. I'm glad my drawings have some quality of evocation to them
Some drawing from life and the MFA in Boston. First horse is a little Chinese sculpture, the second is from a big statue of Gen. Washington in the park, I think I need to do some animal anatomy studies before I try that again, get a sense of how the things operate. Also some composition studies after Degas and a little sketch of a section of painting by John Neagle. More emblem designs.

Espescially wanted to thank your for your tips and advice, they are really really usefull and I will take them to heart for the full 100%, thanks for the pep talk haha! I really need to enjoy it more, and not make it some kind of competition for myself, that really ruins everything, I need to have more fun you are right!
