    Damn nice inks.
This combination looks real nice: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1217988690
Those lined up little strokes on these newest updates look real good too. That look of random debris is very eye catching.

i think providing some kind of environmental aspect to these ink things, even if it's just more of the same kind of object mashup would really make these a lot stronger. As it is now, it's just cool looking shape-things on a blank page.
this onehas that hint of a context, and to me makes it a much more appealing image. Though, i might argue putting a 'horizon line' in the middle of that page is a bit static. A little atmosphere/environmental context goes a looong way to making a dynamic image.

really cool shape designs though. the incorporation of familiar object into the abstract I really enjoy.
Any specific goals with these[taking them to something more?], or just having fun?

armando- thanks, it's been nice getting back to some ink work lately.

Texahol- thanks for the advice, I agree with the hint of environment thing in some ways, these ink drawings are kind of preliminary/exploratory work for an exhibition late this fall. One aspect of it anyway...

Some watercolor. Imagination, observation, observation, observation.

Meant to axe you: what kind of paper is this? and, is that white prismacolor pencil, crayon? http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1217988690

armando- the paper is just some colored strathmore paper. Not much tooth, I'm not sure what the actual intended use of the paper is, I just pick up some random stuff now and again and see what I can do with it. The white is ink from a uni-ball signa pen. Basically just one of those roller gel pens. Does the trick though.

    More ink.

GHill- thanks, I'll try to oblige with some larger stuff soon... I've got a lot of obligations and work going right now so it might be a few days. Good things mostly.

Here's a few pages of observational drawing around Tufts and South Station.

Diego- not sure of the number of hours, worked on it on and off for some days... I'm starting another large one soon, I'll try to keep a better sense of overall time.

Some figure drawing, two 30 minute poses, I think the rest are all 10-15.

Thanks Diego, I really need to start updating on a more regular basis. I've been doing a lot of work but not spending the time to scan and post it all... here's a bit of it.
