some sketchbook pages from a bit back, just to put them all in one place.
some sketching from life and memory, a couple of ref portraits and watercolor sketches.
speedpaint somewhat based on reference... learned a bit about color involved with "white" out condition.
from a ref again. amazing how much color there can be in such desaturation. Had to check and recheck a lot of my guesses.
I love your snow speedy. It just looks great.
Did you take the colour from the ref or not?
Hey aedman, been awhile since I last visited, I see crazy improvement in your lines and rendering. Keep doing what your doing, great balance of imagination to life/reference work. Cheers.

I am amazed by your abilities every time I check your sb. Not much else I can say really- just know that I lurk here often.
Wow, I really like all of your pencil renderings and how you create dynamic lighting on objects. It reminds me of my drawings and what I attempt to do when I go about rendering, except you're a lot further along than I am. Did you say you were an MFA? If so, in what?
Ex Nihilo- thanks for looking/lurking.
Jamesy- not an MFA student, I meant it was sketching from the Museum of Fine Arts here in Boston. Problematic abbreviation though I suppose.
