Reminds me of a swedish teacher that wanted the girls to paint their pubes green and press them selves on a piece of paper to make a triangle, so they could make a christmas tree.

Anybody who wants a leadership role - and all teachers are leaders - must exhibit discretion. And this guy. . . didn't.

I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.

As I came into this thread I immediately thought that this was something that he had done during school hours. Thankfully that wasn't the case.

However, i think the school board did the right thing here.

it's not that he was fired because of using his dong or ass as a brush. it's because a demo video of him doing so ended up on youtube and the entire school got access to it, thus making the whole ordeal a distraction. He was even disguised in the video, so he knew the consequences of his act. and if he was truely that concerned with his career he wouldn't have done the video in the first place, knowing full well that it could leak.

And besides. His 'art' is pretty lame. If all he can do with his ass is paint cartoonish butterflies, maybe he shouldn't be teaching art to students in the first place. (I say this even though I do not know anything about his teaching methodology...he may be infact a very good teacher. And who knows...perhaps cartoonish butterflies is quite the feat considing you're using your ass.)

Considering how seriously he seemed to take his own art scam, that twit isnít qualified to be teaching art.

I think Seedling hit it: vibrant junk or not, do we want someone this lame teaching our future artists?

When i hoped I had teachers with real balls back in my school days, I don't think this is exactly what i had in mind...

I just laughed at that. Still, what he does in private time shouldnt decide if he can be ateacher or not imo. Art needs both disciplined people and weirdos as him, just in order to make it interesting and multifacetted.

Will the students at the CA Atelier experience anything like this when sexy Coro teaches painting? Something like that would worth the price of admission alone.

XD That reminds me of a recent C&H comic:

Art Teacher fired for using genitals as Brush

    Cyanide & Happiness @ Explosm.net

    Sketchbook
    DevArt

The world is filled with people who were given great natural gifts, sometimes conspicuosly flashy gifts, yet never produce anything. And when that happens, the world soon ceases to care whether they are talented.

The age-long question: "Do artists use penis as their paint brush extension?" was finally answered.
