Compress images, they shouldn't be more than 200k

    Topic: Future Noir Transport

Background: You've been asked to design a transport for a future noir game/film. After defeating one of the henchman the protagonist has to get to the secret (underground/underwater/in orbit) base. Design the vehicle to get him there, and specify how he obtains it.

    Brief:

    1. Design something to get the hero to the secret base.

    2. Future noir = film noir + future.

Deadline: Saturday 20th January (You have a bit of extra time, so make use of it)

    Is this easy enough?

    mmmm.... which way to go?

Interesting but challenging topic I would say.

Difficult to break noir down into any particular design aesthetic - to my mind the risk would be straying into pulp designs for classic noir or toward cyber-punk for future-noir like bladerunner.

Good to think about such things though, see what I can produce for this.

Flip: I assume that it is okay to use 3D for this contest.

Work has taken over my life, so I will have to weak-out of this one.

evamonkeyn2 - Think 1930's black and white detective movies.

This sounds like a great topic, I'll give it a shot.

    Very Nice

VERY VERY NICE WORK. I'm working on a hovercar as well... a 51 mercury-ish one though.

    My entry.

Here is my picture. I didn't reference any vehicle in particular, but I wanted it to look quite sinister.

Description: This car belongs to a corrupt politician. It is the only car allowed to pass unchecked into the high security bunker, and is the mode of entry chosen by the spy, who is attempting to expose the highly secretive work going on there.

goran: Le fantastico! Great that you know how to use traditional media like that! Marker action sweetness!!! Great design!

Larkin Please tell me you're going to polish it more! This has a lot of potential. I'd tighten the highlights and make it sexy. Also a nice ground. The lights take away from it being sinister looking - they look like sleepy eyes ;p
