Great entries all. So what happens to those of us without partners? Do we get straight through, or get matched up with someone else?

I wasn't too bothered that no-one's mentioned it yet but just skip it out altogether? Harsh dude, harsh.

    *crys into his pillow*

    Excellent work by everyone!

I agree the judges will have a hard time picking, with the exception of Nerdlinger of course.

    By the way, Ikuru...

No, I'm not going to rip your "shitty entry", I'm ripping your shitty attitude.

You think I seriously believed I'd be kicking any ass? I knew the calibur of artists I was going up against, I only signed up to learn something (which I did), not because I expected to beat anyone.

One would think a guy who talked so much crap could take a little back without resorting to petty comments.

So congratulations, you turned "Hey, good job, you sure put your money where your mouth is" into "Fuck you, asshole".

Anyhow, that's my piece. Moving along...

    Well, damn....

Then you go apologize and take all the wind from my sails.

Sorry for taking your comment too seriously then. I'm still kinda new around here, so I don't quite know most of the posters around here. However, I'm not afraid to mouth off to people, so as a result I sometimes stick my foot in my mouth.

And seriously speaking (ironically enough), your piece is good man. I'm liking it a lot, especially the flowers and sun/fire effects. Real nice color work too.

One of these days we're gonna have to go head to head in a TD or something, eh?

Thank you for your kind comments too.
I think your compostition is nice, and It would be even nicer if you make more of a dramatic light on it.

Alright, done posting the match ups-

Nobody got left out ( sorry about that Kboss) and if somebody did, let me know (im still part human you know)

I have to say, no matter who wins this round, there are some amazing pieces in here, just like I expected. I am glad, proud and joyful to be in the same competition as all you great artists. As far as I can see, there are no loosers here, only great ideas and skills coming together...

Even though there were a few entries that were far from being done, I must say that posting what you had shows a lot of your respect for your fellow artists. well done.

Time for trash talking is done, now let the judges do the talking- its time for crits and kudos.

Thanks to everyone who sent me a PM- but this puppy aint over yet!

My favorites are those showing the artist understood that kinetic attacks and energy attacks are mountable by mere mortals, and that the gods are apart from us because they count among their weapons time, space, and the fabric of reality.

Among that set, the ones who took the care to render out a thoughtful environment or environments for their god(s) were another step above.

Among those who had the above two things, the elite are the ones who actually and specifically showed a plurality of combatants (a God plus either another god, a titan or an army) in swift and dangerous collision, dispensing and or receiving profound jeopardy to their persons. The best among them will get any vote I have to give, as best living up to the topic. Thanks for showing me what you can do.

T-domes are always worth the wait once you see all the artwork lined up like this.

-Voodoochile: Nice composition. Also, I hardly ever seem to paint with warmer palletes like this these days but I find myself drawn to them, I think you've inspired me to do just that.

-Greentopaz: wow, that is sick. Tripple head slice! The colours are my favourite thing about this, Kali pops off the page.

-strych9ine: Thanks alot, I appreciate that. I actually thought you had one of the most appealing pieces too. The execution was great but the concept was even better, I think I would have had way more fun if I could have come up with an idea like that. (as a child it seems you had that evil, darkened, sunken-in eye look going)

    Interesting new match-ups! x)

There were some really breathtaking pieces pulled out of numerous hats here. Was great to sort of be a part of it all!

Masque.. Well, I really can't smack talk when I'm up against artwork like that. o: So simply.. may the best animal, mineral or vegetable win.

It better not be the god you've nicknamed 'The lurker at the threshold'...

EDIT: Why is it that there are 44 match ups but I can only see 29?

29 sounds right to me. Out of about 90, about 15 were pre-puss outs and about 15 were post-puss outs. 15+15=30. 90-30=60. 60 divided by 2=30. (which is approximately 29). I'd say it's within the constraints of my crude model. (is there an extreme dork smiley on here?)
