    Japanese drawing tool

    Just stumbled upon this, Its some wierd thing supposedly to enhance your drawing skills.

    In all honesty though I think its a load of rubbish but I thought I should share it.

    I hope these guys ain't artists or have drawn for some longer time at least...

    I don't see the good thing with it ? why that complicated construction ? why not just a paper or something ? lol, I dont see the good thing with it...after all, it comes down with a lot of time, practice and practice.. some smart-ass drawing secret wont help me thinks...

    Yep I agree. plus its better to train your eye naturally without this strange instrument otherwise people would rely on it, but still its interesting.

    it looks like a barbydoll house o_O can`t take it seriously...even if it had a different color...the whole concept and design is rather...yuk !

    But the little sketch at the start was funny IF he was a beginner or non-artist <-<...

    for those who don't understand, it's just making use of the way our eyes see things, and makes it seem like the model is projected onto the paper, and we just have to trace them out.

    It looks just like a facegrip+ a clipboard... get an easel for me anyday.

    Im wondering ... creating a good portrait often/always means to "reinvent" the model ... but with that thing , you are mostly just tracing it...you could ask "where is the art ?" (and no discussion about what art is , i just dont know a better word in english)
