Nice, nice, nice! You've got very hard linestyle, which give interesting vibration to your sketches. You could try softening it down next time. Regarding paintings - I would recommend to look at masters and study what are the methods of exaggerating focus (look for all kind of contrasts - line cripsness, colour, composition details, texture, values... and so on). You could build space easier with those tools and would make your characters stand out much more. I must admit you have great imagination and traditional sketches.

    Best!

Wow, the last batch of stuff is real good man. The knight looks awesome though i'd just think more about the forms 'around' a bit more, put some more emphasis on the cloths and folds wrapping around.

Looks good otherwise, keep up the goodwork!

woooowww good sketches. In that first one in post 546 I think adding a stronger shadow right where it is under the landing crafts would help add a little more depth. Good stuff though, I really like your colors. Cheers.

    thank you all.
I did this for my good friend Bhanu. I ruined his "playmates" painting in the process.

I know how you feel, I've been there way too many times. On my birthday, my girlfriend gave me something that made me think about you. It said:

"You don't have to feel it's a struggle to follow your dream. It will follow you."

    Keep your head high, brother.

Hey guys, thanks for all the love. And Bhanu - my pleasure man.

Here's something i did for a contest on an art blog. The theme was "Unusual Cowboy" and the requirement was something non-human.
Did it in 3.5 hours from start to finish and i wish i had more time with it

Interesting how you make pieces out of an extremely limited palette.

    back with stuff from school!

    personal logo:

logo and poster for a bike to be used by persons with balance disorders. i know the logo is shabby..

    -

curved surfaces from straight lines. fun project

    -

kite done from recycled materials [the surface is your regular trash bag:

future technology project - directional sound. i started out with a mp3 player that was supposed to be worn as a necklace / bracelet. that option had so many flaws that i dumped it and went into designing a player that can be attached in various places.
