Hey, thanks for stopping at my SB!

You´ve got some serious pencil studies, I really dig them...I wish I could post some useful crits, but you´re far more skilled than me, so I´ll just say -- keep up the great work!

    Cheers--

Excellent work. I really like the milkmaid especially. I will give more constructive feedback tomorrow when I'm not so tired and more able to type complete sentences.

great studies! Watch out and make sure the eyes line up correctly. I have trouble with this exact issue.
Loving your pencil drawings. The pose of the gun-handed guy is great too! Keep posting!

Thanks for the advice. I've been giving people the exact same advice lately. The things is when I get a very tight construction the head lose character and vice versa. Hopefully I can find the correct balance later on.

Thanks mate. The figures look a little crappy I know. Just need to do more of those studies.

Thanks! It's a long time since I did technical drawings. I'll have to produce another vehicle soon so I don't get too sloppy. I'm glad you like them.

Hey! you talk spanish? ¡Bueno! Txs for stop by..
Now I got a little more time to give my opinion. Of your fist works, "furion" and "swordsman" are great. You got really cool ideas for characters, they look strongly done. There are some failures of anatomy, but they are minimal. There is an enormous change from your first posts to the last ones, it shows that you have been working hard. I will be looking over here.
    Regards!

The potraits look great! Hopefully i'll be able to draw like that someday in the future. How much time did spend on each of them?

The guy with the P90 type gun looks cool too, his gestures look natural and loose.

    Update more! >.<'

I realized that I didn't do any imagination stuff for quite some time. So I decided to do a redesign of the assassin I posted earlier in this thread. It was
hard to think of the anatomy in terms of light and dark masses instead of lines which I'm more comfortable with. It also reminded me that I need to start doing anatomy studies again, specially the back! There's still a lot to be done, but here it is. Crits please!

Lovely pencil work! Dig your faces! on the assasin guy, the arm that is further back looks very funky, almos like it facing the wrong way, I think what is happening is that the lighter values are pushing it in front of the back, it should maybe be darker to fit in with the shadow of the back.

Clean lines and skillful eye to details in characters, more to wish would be cleare shadow-light direction in sketches

I love your pencils and I envy your perspective skills! You've really made a ton of progress over this sketchbook (almost two years).

In the assassin pic, the right arm is still fighting for the foreground when I look at it...I don't know if there's a little bit of an anatomy issue along with the tonal problems. It looks like the shoulder might be a bit low. Something happens between progress pics 4 and 5 in post #197 that makes it look odd. I like the shoulder more in pic #4, before you lower and emphasize the deltoid. Still, great WIP!

    Keep up the awesome!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I tried to make more adjustments today. I think this is as far as I will take it for now. Maybe I'll give it another pass later on.

That last one is looking better, almost there, but i think one more last push will make it even better!! My suggestion would be to tighten up the anatomy just a bit more, and try to avoid using straight black for your shadows on the figure especially. It can flatten the picture out too much, also some more work on the legs and youve got a very nice painting here, ... that just needs color, ha ha , you can do it.

By the way, I did some work for the Oz card game too.

wow, your style is pretty close to that of one of my friends. Your stuff looks pretty solid. The anatomy is a little wonky in some parts, but that can be attributed to style. You have a bunch of pages here, so I won't give you the token "keep posting" but instead I'll just browse your work. It's a pleasure to view it.

Thanks for the tips! The darkest value in that painting is about 90% grey so I'm still in the safe zone. I did put some more work into him but I'm still not satisfied with the concept so maybe I'll give it another try later on.
