Good luck with the design, it's hard to see the final outcome right now, only thing which worries me a bit is her pirate hat, it feels like it's drooping a bit too much (because of the paint maybe, in which case, careful with your strokes).

Cool bro, go hit it! =)

Thanks for dropping by mate! Just playing around with what I've learned.

Happy new year my friend! You're right I'm pushing it more in the direction of let's say a final boss. Thanks for the comment about the heads. The size was intentional but I'll have another look at it.

    Kungfoowiz
It's more of an oversized hoody . I'll be more careful with describing the form in the final drawing.

Thanks man! Still have a long way to go

I made a tighter drawing based on the concept I drew earlier. I think this one is good enough for some paint.

    Hey bro

It's good, I like the drawing very much. One or two things I myself would look at would be to have that left hand whip, the back of it, to go behind her leg, in your drawing you're suggesting it's coming forward, I would have more overlap in there is all imho.

The hoodie looks very interesting. Looking forward to seeing how you paint that. =)

Glad you like it bro. She's actually holding the whip in front of her body. I'll make sure to clarify that more when I continue.

    That`s a nice chick u`ve got there!

Like the face. Makes her look badass! The only thing I can`t really place is where her hat sits on the clothes. Or is it the meaning that she has a hat that works like a pullover thing? It seems that its suited on her nekclace thingy. If that`s the case, maybe it looks cooler if you add some wrinkles on her right shoulder that connects. (1st person view)

Sorry bro, can`t find the right words to explain it more clearly because I don`t know the english word for it.

If you are proud of what you did yesterday,
    you haven`t done today

Thanks for the comments guys! I made some minor changes to the drawing and also made some sketches for Odin. I'm keeping some elements from the old design but I'm pushing him more towards the main character of an action adventure game.

Awesome work Swen.. mmm, I noticed in paint, her left foot is bothering me a bit. I think you are maybe showing too much of the foot (like the side and the underside). To fix I would turn it toward us slightly and slope the toes down a bit, but just some ideas, it's your painting, do what you feel is best. =)

Odin sketches are freaking awesome! =)

Thanks for the tip bro I'll take a look at it when I continue.

I've been super busy producing concept art at work these last weeks so I didn't do much with my own projects, but I'm planning to pick them back up soon. In the meanwhile here are some anatomy studies I did today. The middle one is from imagination.

Very nice sketches! I really like the rough ones of the warrior dudes, I think every one of them could make a cool looking character. Nice progress on the colored one also! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for all the comments guys!!! They really help keep my motivation up. Here are some studies done in ink. The animal sketches are from my trip to the zoo with my friend Tom last sunday. I couldn't draw as much as I planned to because it was really cold but it was still a fun trip.

Wow great sketchbook man. Your paintings look really great, as do your anatomy studies, but I think what I love most are the creature/ character concepts...lots of original ideas that came across extremely well. Looking forward to checking out more.

Thanks for dropping by everyone! I'm finally allowed to show some stuff I did for Paladin Studios. These are some pre-production art done for an undisclosed project.
