Some stuff from my new sketchbook, and two out of place ones. Whatever, POSTED!

    EDIT: Added finished shaded piece.

Thanks, I keep meaning to do more hand studies, but also keep forgetting!!!

Well, I dropped two animation classes last month and am, as of now, searching for a school more suitable to my needs. I posted about this elsewhere, but anyway! OCAD, Sheridan, and Concordia are on my list of prospective destinations, but I've got a lot of time to examine them all and decide for myself.

Here comes a massive dump, mostly because I put off updating this (!!!) but it shouldn't happen again as the summer boredom has already kicked in and drained some of my inspiration… No, wait, I'm just lazy.

I've got some life studies from this instructorless class that I'll hopefully be able to take every Wednesday from now on. Lot of penises today, too, so watch your eyes!

EDIT: these came out sooooo faded.

Sweet update. The penis-seagulls scared the hell outta me though. o.0

this one shows great use of lineweight and I'm liking the character aswell.

Not really eligible to post any critique or advice except keep working and don't get lazy ;p

Please feel eligible! You don't need a degree to be able to tell what you like and don't like. Certainly doesn't stop me! ;P

Small dump today. I'm trying more than anything this summer to be more patient with my work, and build a portfolio based on quality rather than quantity. Would also like to learn how to paint and use perdy colors, too. H'yuck.

    yoyo!

nice work in here, keep doing what ur doing i wouldw like to say do more life drawing, but then again, the life drawings ive seen from u were perfect
since the proportions are good, maybe try to make more finished life drawings instead of the line things?

It has been a long time, sheeit. I have some new stuff I want to show but no compatible drivers for my scanner so it will have to wait a month or two.

mentler: oh man oh man. Thank you for your encouraging words, sir.

electricmoonshine: you're in the air force and can't read this! I'mma send you a letter instead.

    Newbs: I'm trying! D:

    Kozak: thanks!

Beta_v1: I think I may have but I'll double check check

ajvenema: a good idea! I try that with painting but when I'm drawing it's harder for me to tell when a drawing is done or not.

I've started painting in digital for class and here are a few unfinished paintings to come from that. It embarrasses me that I use so few of the PS brush preferences, I only just recently found out how to control brush tilt.
