Well this is the post! My first post ever on conceptart.org.
Let's introduce myself:
I'm Jeroen Derks (krimble),
I life in the Netherlands
and i'm more a 3d\technical guy than artistic. I work for a virtual reality lab where I do most of the 3d, coding, rigging and animation. My passion goes to anything that has to do with creatures (offcourse because i'm a techguy eventually creatureTD).
Well anything that has to do with creatures non technical....... I think I'm at the right forum to learn some of the creature artistic skills.
I want to learn, give crits as much as you want.
Good luck to ya'll and a happy new year! Why ovengloves? It's allready warm in an oven.

So...this is a photo manipulation, I assume?
The skewing of the features isn't bad but it all looks so...fake. The bright red MSPaint blood, the veins in the eyes, the drool, it all just looks tacked on. The general point of doing something like this is to make it look as realistic as possible. Try studying wounds and how blood flows, the colors etc, and try it again.

Yes I would say the same.
Using the same shiny red for blood and in the eyes as well as in lit up and shadowed areas of the face doesnt make it any realistic.

Thank you, for those helpfull crits.
For the color of the blood, damm it's true it's a to bright red.
Now let's go on a reference hunt, does anyone know a good site for this kind of ref pics, (zombie, dead, blood etc.).
