    Lovely work!
That's quite a big load of fine concept art. Pretty funny to see what you call a warmup To bad those M&M: Dark Messiahs concepts were not in the game, they look very rad!

    Cheers.

This is a great set of artwork. I love the compositions and color palettes, especially on the Bishop. The Kings one is absolutely amazing.

Living Rope....damn. lovin' the textures you've built.

    Really, they're all wonderful.

got any tuts or wips of any of them? I'd love to see your work progress.

Dude, your storytelling skills have gotten so strong it's hard to even believe it. Fuck and your concepts have gotten so strong that they rival your storytelling. And fuck, your art is getting so strong it hurts!!!!

I love you man, keep on rocking like hardcore

    Hi Jean,

As always, seeing your work evolve a grow its a enjoyable process, your "Warmups" are teh rockz0rds. Your interplay with painting, texture (and photo elements?) its just fantastic, I could gladly marry that castle backgroun on the "Tyrants & kings II", it has a wonderfull tactile texture that makes it look "retro" and edgy at the same time. The other cover with the swords its such a storytelling feast that Im dying to read that book! hah!

Crits! the castle on the cover of "Feast of Crows" its a bit soft in texture, its too focused and sharp.

    JS!

I full heartedly agree with Marko. The stories you are weaving with the compositions are fantastic. 'Grand-dessein.jpg' reminds me of old school frazette covers. Delicious man and amazed by your level of diversity.

wow, thanks again guyz. thank you !
I've done a tiny update on the first page.

alti: my AD gave me a résumé this time because I had not time to read the book. And she said swords. I do believe in my AD whatever happens. you must be wrong :p

SBACHAN, vlad22, Chermilla, Vulgar`, stalsby, hipper, ddame, shadoman, Art_Addict, Gilles, Jason Snair, wizo5454, DavePalumbo, DanielC, Infinit, mrpank, btsculptor, elpez: many, many, many, many, many thanks !!!! one kiss on the left cheek to each one of you !

    James Kei: I'm honored.

Tentacle: hola compadre ! mucho thanks mate. wassup these days ? we don't see much of you so I believe you are overwhelmed with work, don't you ? please show me something, whatever it is. Show me !

retmia: nope, I don't have a sketchbook. I don't do sketches, directly digital.

Bomba: Hey Mr Instructor ! your words mean a lot man. So when are we getting salvaged finally ?!! Take care my friend.

Sam Araya: Yes I do use photo elements for texturing. I try to mix the painted feel and photorealism. Depends on what's the focus of the piece actually.

    M.A.L: merci l'ami. Dis-moi une chose, il vient d'où ton pseudo ?

Marko my Marko: Dude, I hope you are honest when saying such compliment ! Coming from you it's a reward in itself.

Love you too honey... oh, sorry I forgot you're a married man now ! :

    Marko Luna: sleep ? what's that ?

Dan DS: I wish I could have painted any of yours

Cody: I will post a thread with my graphic design stuff soon. But before that I'd like to put my second website together and I don't have time for that right now. I need to show this to people, to see if it meets interest or not because I went strongly into abstraction. Thanks for asking my friend.

The 2 'Tyrants and Kings' ones are really grabbing my attention for the moment! Stellar work! ,The Years of Rice and Salt, has a lovely color pallete as well. All of your works are well composed and really has strong narrative behind them!
